Summary: Viva El Fagtastico!!
Review: This book is dark and delicious. An aquired taste to be sure, but I loved every page. Gritty stuff from an artist who remembers how much childhood does suck! Viva Lynda!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: A book of some what good cartoons.
Review: This book was not real intoresting. It was long and drawn out. It did not get right to the point. If you want to read about cartoons and not get to the point of them, read this book. Other than that, it is not the book for you.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Funny, Heartbreaking, Wonderful
Review: This is a perfect book. Beautiful and moving, as well as silly and terribly sad. It even has a happy ending! Lynda Barry is a genius. She's the George Herriman of today.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Amazing, dark, touching
Review: This should be in the poetry section of the bookstore, only then no one would buy it. Part fairy tale, part magical realism, part comic book, part poetry--it's hard to classify this astonishing book. Freddie's nightmarish year and attempts to keep his sanity by thinking about nature made me cry many times, and I cheered for him to get through it. Visceral, raw, terrible and beautiful. Wow.

Summary: she does it again
Review: totally moving, it made me wipe my eyes repeatedly. Completely subtle and also beautifully in your face, fresh, new, painful, thank god for Lynda Barry.
