Summary: A Bit To Vague...
Review: "Under A Glass Moon" has wonderful art, no doubt about it. The rich costumes and idea's make it all worth while. But, the story is a bit too vague for my liking. It keep's jumping back and forth to the presant and the past, making it almost unbearably confusing & hard to follow. There is a good plot to the story, but the book is making it too hard to follow. Most of the character's are annoying and whiney, and one character (I think some of you know what I meen) is highly unrealistic for a mother! If you are willing to put up with it though, go ahead and try it!!

Summary: Gothic Manga with a Clamp-like Touch
Review: After reading the first volume, I have to admit that it was surprisingly good. You're presented with the twin Reinhardt brothers, Luka a fiery bad tempered older brother who's a Dark Arts wizard, and Luel his shy mellow younger brother who is a scholar turned alchemist. Next, meet those who live with them. Madam Batolli is a beautiful witch with a flair for gothic clothes and who doesn't act like her responsible age would demand. Her temperamental daughter Nell who has an enormous crush on Luka because she thinks he saved her life, while it was actually Luel. Next, let's throw in a fire spirit named Ifreet, a cute boy who wants to be Luka's apprentice but has mysterious powers of his own, Luel's ex-girlfriend who's come back to wreck havoc on his love life, and an enigmatic magic user from the Orient.

Strange but unique characters, an impressive attention to detail in the manga's art, magic spells, love triangles, mysterious enemies, references to Merlin/Morgan/Alistair Crowley, a touch of gothic darkness overlaying the setting and its characters, and what you have is an interesting if not unique manga worth reading.

The somewhat dark setting with its magic elements, beautiful and androgynous characters, its twisted sense of humour, and hints at relationships between the characters reminded me of Clamp's titles. An interesting manga to read if you liked Clamp's "X" and want a lighter version of it without the Apocalypse looming, or want something different for a change.

Summary: Well TokyoPop it's about Frickin' Time!!!!
Review: Having this manwha published was one of the BEST things ever for me. Being Korean myself, I enjoyed reading this VERY VERY much. It's always nice to see how different things are in different places. Anyways...the book itself was awesome, it had comedy, drama, romance, action, and angst all rolled into one, for ONE THRILLING PACKAGE! But seriously some of the stuff in there is just HILARIOUS, it will have you rolling. I can't wait until the next one is published, yay!!

Summary: TokyoPop's Silver Lining
Review: I enjoyed this first volume very much. The story is atypical of the manga TokyoPop has been domestically releasing, probably due in part to the fact that the author is Korean and not Japanese. The art in this book is amazing and detailed; no lazy line drawings spruced up with pretty screentones here. Regrettably, TokyoPop has compared this book with Harry Potter on their website, but don't listen, they'll mislead you into their American pop-culture trap of doom! I can't wait for the second volume to come out in September 2003.

Summary: Hilariously entertaining and EGL ^_^
Review: If you're a fan of EGL (elegant gothic lolita) fashion or jrock music you will probably enjoy this a lot. The story revolves around magicians that are mostly hot sexy guys with a neighbour that looks like Mana and her cute but bratty daughter.

At times, this got quite wacky so aside from reading the bubbles be sure to take a closer look to the amazing drawings. Hee hee I actually laughed out loud *lol* because the story is really funny. There is actually a story but since it's the first volume, you mainly get introduced to the main characters and a new boy *very cute* that possesses many gifts. Not much is given about him but obviously it will be revealed later on the next volume *hopefully* ^_^

Summary: It's like Demon Diary meets Malice Mizer.
Review: Nothing Harry Potter about this book. This fun, humerous, very bishounen manga will keep you drooling & rolling on the floor (that's a good thing) It has authentic Gothic Lolita fashion, Mana from Moi Dix Mois, cameo apperences by Gackt & Shazna's Izam, & this cute evil guy with a crown made of chocolate chip cookies & cabbage.
