Summary: I YOU LOVE COMICS OR KEVIN SMITH
Review: I ENJOYED THIS BOOK. IMAGINE THERE ARE TWO WORLDS OF CHASING AMY. THE EVENTS GOING ON IN THE MOVIE AFFECT OTHER PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO KNOW PEOPLE...JAY AND SILENT BOB. WE SEE THEM BEFORE THEIR MEETING WITH HOLDEN AND CARRIES TO THE BEGINNING OD DOGMA. I ADVISE YOU TO MAKE AN INVESTMENT!

Summary: Funny Book!
Review: I got this book to fill in the history between Chasing Amy and Dogma. I loved it! Loved the jokes! Loved the laughs! However, given that it was to fill a space, there was an awful lot of discontinuity between it and the later movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It seemed almost like a first draft for that movie. But aside from that, I got a great many laughs.

Of course, Jay, the drawing, is not nearly so cute as Jay, the actor, but that's another story...

Summary: Responce: In defense of Kevin Smith
Review: I have not yet purchased the Chasing Domga paperpack although I am contemplating it. I am writing this to get some facts straight. I am a huge Kevin Smith fan, I have been to his store twice in Redbank, I have seen all of his movies numerous times and seen all the comentary numerous times and that includes Clerks animated (how many people can say that). My mother grew up in Little Silver, NJ and my grandmother still lives there. I am just giving you back ground to let all the readers know that i know what I'm talking about. First off, you cant even compair Chasing Amy to Dogma because it isn't part of the Jersey Chronicals. If you were going to, Chasing Amy would come out on top. Then Clerks and Mallrats tie each other for their creativity and humor. I think Jason Lee is the most talented actor out there and Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson are not far behind. I hope this helps people in their purchase choice and in thier opinion about these flicks and of Kevin Smith himself. Thank you.

Summary: In defense of Kevin Smith
Review: I was all psyched to get the new Dogma SE dvd, not only because it is a great movie, but because I wanted to get a special addition called "In defense of Dogma". I later found out this had been removed completely. This book, I hope, will fill in that gap a little bit. Although I didn't enjoy Chasing Amy very much, Dogma more than makes up for it. I recommend getting any Kevin Smith product.

Summary: Like Dogma? Find out how they got to IL from NJ
Review: More of Jay and Silent Bob. This gathers the three part Jay and Silent Bob series into one book. It fills in the blanks from Chasing Amy to Dogma. Like the movies? Get the comic.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Extremely Funny
Review: Not a comic book for little kids, Chasing Dogma provides the adventures of Jay & Silent Bob up to the opening moments of the film DOGMA. This made me laugh outloud many times. Highly recommended for fans of Smith's films and others who appreciate humor on several levels -- from crude to philosophical.

Summary: Brilliant tie-in to almost all the movies.
Review: Not only does this tie Chasing Amy, Mallrats, and Dogma together, but it also sort of spoils J&SBSB.

So it's a must for a Kevin Smith fan with a broken VCR.
