Summary: This totally blew me out of the water
Review: When i saw Peach Girl, it looked like a bad shojo manga with a lot of boring stuff or a hentai comic that was really perverted. To answer my question, i opened the book (no i was not hoping for hentai) i was pleasantly surprised. It is shojo, i don't think it would captivate male readers as much as females, yet i'm not a huge romantic but i found myself loving this manga with a passion. The art style is very unique (kudos to ueda miwa) and the story is most intresting blending humor and drama with the fate of growing up. It's about momo learning to like herself the way she is. I think we could all use a lesson in that (^_~)

Summary: The Best!
Review: ok, this is one of the best mangas ive ever read. LoL i really wont give away the plot but its absolutely HILARIOUS! i first read it in an edition of Smile <---[anime zine]the cliff hangers [which in my opinion suck] keep you coming back for more to find out what happened. this is a must read for teenagers...not for little kids...they wouldnt get a part...LoL. ne ways its an excellent read, and the drawings are good. watch out for some of the colored ones, some of them a pretty messed up...but its all good...so click! buy! enjoy! ~bunny

Summary: Read Peach Girl Now!
Review: Oh my! I love this manga! It's funny, sad, and realistic. If you get your hands on Peach Girl, you'll never want to let go of it! The parts with Momo and Kiley are especially funny. :)

Summary: Not the best, but a good read in the bookstore.
Review: Peach Girl was a decent plot, but I just felt bad for poor Momo, who things just keep going wrong for. Sae, her "friend", is just about the most evil person you could find, realisticly. =) She's just not a very nice person.
The Artwork in Peach Girl wasn't my style, and the covers are a bit clashing, but inside is a good plot with a few funny parts. Good read--- for the bookstore.

Summary: More than just Peachy!
Review: As an avid fan of shoujo manga and anime (Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres mangaka Yuu Watase is my personal idol), I decided to give Peach Girl a try the second I realized it was being translated into English. I got quite a pleasant surprise! Peach Girl is dramatic, cute, romantic and incredibly witty! Oh yeah; it's also got some nice bishounen. It's everything you could ask for out of a definitive shoujo series. Pure fun to read, anyone who's a fan of anime series such as 'Marmalade Boy' are bound to fall in love with 'Peach Girl'.

Summary: Lessons Learned
Review: When I first picked up this comic, I thought it was some boring stuff, but since it was anime I thought I pick it up anyway at the library. I got home and sat it down, and BOOM the first page had me interested.
Watching Momo struggle trying ot live a normal life as a highschool student instead of being known as soe beach bunny was just so interesting. Not often can you have something so realistic in a comic book.
Watching the betrayal of Momo from Sae is just heart aching. I strongly recommend you to read this. It just gives you a good idea of what stereolization can do to someone, and what friends are for and not for.

Summary: For Anyone Who's Been Misunderstood
Review: This wonderfully drawn manga, full of comedy, action, and drama, is a must for any graphic novel lover (over 13), and for those who find themselves at the wrong end of envious assumptions. Momo (that's Japanese for "peach") is a bright, innocent girl who is always hit on by sleezy men because she looks like a beach bunny with her tan skin and light blond hair. Momo's "best friend" Sae uses these assumptions to her own advantage by encouraging the rumors about Momo in order to place Momo out of the High School dating circuit...and have Momo's crush all to herself. The first volume leaves you with a cliffhanger that will leave you breathless for volume 2! This is a touching novel that, like Momo, appears shallow and bubble gum on the outside, but is filled with touching and true sentiments.

Summary: be yourself
Review: This is my absolute favorite manga I've ever read! It is so addictive you can read the same book like ten times before you even get a little bored of it! I made all my friends read it, and they all totally loved it even if they weren't into manga! I would suggest this shoujo to 13 and ^, because it talks about condoms and has Kiley in it. heehee.

Summary: Peach Girl by Miwa Ueda
Review: Momo's an unhappy girl. Her only "friend" Sae will do anything she can to keep her apart from Toji. Kiley isn't much help either. First he went around telling everyone he'd kissed Momo, then he made good on the rumors. While everyone was gossiping that Momo and Kiley were an item, Sae stuck her hooks into Toji. She offered to teach him how to kiss Momo. But Momo saw this and when Toji tried to show her what he learned she wouldn't let him. Meanwhile, Sae's been telling Momo that Toji is her boyfriend and that the only reason Toji was fooling around with Momo is because he thought she looked quick and easy.

I would definetely reccomend this book to everyone who loves suspense. It'll really get 'ya hooked!
