Summary: Wonderful
Review: 2 stars? I don't understand how someone rated this two stars. This book shows the entrance of Urashima Kanako(Kanako Urashima), Keitaro's younger sister. Keitaro managed to get the spot with Seta to go to the U.S. so he left for 6 months, Naru still struggling to tell Keitaro how she really feels. Towards the end of the 6 months, Kanako arrives, who might I add is a master of impressions, and able to dodge all of Motoko's attacks. She drops some horrible news, and it divides the Hinata House down the middle. A great read for Love Hina fans. I would strongly encourage you all to read this.

Summary: Best Yet!
Review: AGh, I don't care what anyone says. I really liked Keitaro's stepsister. She was funny! I thought she made the book extremely entertaining! This volume also amazed me because I thought I'd be annoyed by the main characters absense while he was on that trip, but it went by so fast it wasn't bad at all. Not to mention a very cute scene with Naru and Keitaro in the beginning. Anyway, I found the new character very entertaining and I'm glad she's been added to the story.

Summary: New character ruins this book
Review: All the other books were great to read through, but this one I was just waiting for the girl to just go away. A freind of mine who had also finished the book said he just skipped to the end because Kanako was just such a drag. If you were smart you would skip this one and go on with book 12. You aint missing much with this one.

Summary: New Dimension of Love Hina
Review: I know there are many people who don't want the plot to progress outside of Naru and Keitaro, but I thought that the new character added a new dimension to the series. I say, anyone who doesn't like it should stop their moaning and stop degrading the series with their whining and complaining.

Summary: The Hina will never die
Review: I thought this book was a very good addition to the love hina series and who ever gave it a two is not a true fan u cant use the same story line over and over. I think that sending the main character away for a while added suspence because everyone in the house depends on him.

Summary: An odd scale, and an odd girl
Review: Now, I have read some of the other books before hand, but #11 was the first one I owned. Well, I judge my scale by how many thousand time's you'll read it and still laugh. Now, I believe that Kuro(the cat) can talk, but his vocabulary is very limited, so Kanako talks for him sometimes. First, might I say, though I am a Keitaro & Naru fan, as many are, This is a nice little detour, and it is extremely funny when Kanako and Naru chase Tamachan for a letter, but Mutsumi had it all along. Oh, and (if you haven't read #10, ignore this next part) Naru's request to Kei-kun. Oh, and Kanako's extraordinary ability to disguise herself and others as ANYONE! Even Tama-chan is a disguise! And that Mutsumi and Naru... Uh, I spoiled most of the tahnkobahn, I won't ruin the rest.

Summary: Simon, you are mistaken!
Review: Simon, the cat really DOES talk in the manga, too! He (she?) also flies! The one time Kanako threw her voice pretending to be the cat there was nobody else in the room but the cat! And really, why can't you accept the fact that the cat does talk, if you can accept the following: the turtle can fly and write, and solve math problems! Mutsumi "dies" at the drop of a hat! Keitaro seems to be pretty much immortal! Motoko & her sister can do impossible things with swords! Seta is a terrible driver, but does not seem to get himself or other people killed! Keitaro's sword can possess people! Kanako can fool people into believe she's someone else, no matter what size that person is. And last but not least, Su is an inventer extraordinaire & she changes into a more mature version of herself when the moon is red! This series is in no way realistic. The cat talks, Simon.

Summary: Great, but be wary
Review: The Love Hina series is a great comedy/drama/love/action series. It changes very quickly between what genre it is. Though some people like I find this series to be the greatest thing since sliced cheese, others find it boring or offensive? (Or at least one person I've heard thought this was offensive.)

If you have never read these books before, I would recommend starting at the first one. Though buying all of the books at once would rack up [quite a bit of money].

Summary: Love Hina's usual light tone dragged down to darkness
Review: This book lacks all the aspects that make the LH series so desirable. There is almost no character progression in the story or development at all in this. The entire promise story, Tokyo U and all other character plots make an abrupt stop as Kanako (you'll learn who she is) enters the story. This book is actually frustrating to read because you hate the newest addition to the cast so much. It's a worthless struggle and the best part is when she is completely overthrown temporarily. I seriously hope that Kanako doesn't stay in the story for long at all because it would be an absolute disaster that would pretty much ruin the story. There's only a few more books left in the series, let's just hope that those manage to climb up from the crater that this one blew them down into.

(Oh yeah, and a talking cat? PLEASE NO MORE!)
