Rating: Summary: Fun and funny as always! Review: Onizuka's back again for more thrills and chills as a...Junior High school teacher? What a concept for a shonen manga, but it works! Onizuka starts off as almost too perverted to be likeable, but of course he turns out to be a truly decent guy--the sort that we could all do to be a little more like: he says what should be said and does what should be done, even when it's the most embarassing or juvenile thing in the world. He isn't always right and often messes up, but his heart is in the right place and ultimately, he really cares about the kids. (The ones that deserve it anyway.) If you can stomach some oftentimes starkly perverse humor and can tear yourself away from the shoujo and battle-a-week shonen, this might be the title for you!
Rating: Summary: TERRORIST STUDENT Review: With a little help from his friends, GTO has scored first place in the national exams and reduced his psychotic enemy, his fellow teacher Mr. Teshigawara to a basket case. Miyabi, one of the only students who still can't stand GTO, decides to hatch a new plot. Pining away with a beer in a deserted park late at night, moping over the lack of a girlfriend, GTO sees a lovely nymphette pull herself out of the water and instantly falls in lust with her. Unfortunately for him, he will find out all too soon that she is Urumi Kanzaki, his new student, a former drop-out who specializes in destroying teacher careers. GTO has to find it in himself to win her heart and mind, even though in so doing, he might just lose his life to the Yakuza crime gangs.Like the other books of this series, this one has its moments of outrageousness and wacky moments. That's ok. That's what GTO is all about.
