Summary: GO RANMA!
Review: This is way cool! This book is cool! How many times must I say it. Kuno is a big pervert and Ranma is very funny. What is up with him and water? Well at leasy Akane is always around to save him. Well Yin-Yang is way out of line here! If you want Anime...this is anime!

Summary: The very beginning of a simply MARVELOUS martial arts saga!
Review: Much to my envious amazement, the lady manga superstar, Rumiko Takahashi cunningly spins out a very wacky fable all about a young Chinese-bred boy and his father who accidentally fell into the cursed springs of China during their rigorous training, thus turning into whatever had drowned in a certain pool. The boy's old man finds himself magically transformed into an oversized panda with an oversized appetite whenever he gets splashed by cold water. And poor young Ranma himself gets morphed into the worst nightmare for a proud male: a very sexy and curvy young girl with a front full of the ripest knockers. And what's more, Ranma is destined to marry an arrogant young Akane in order to inherit her father's training school, which is yet to see its very first student ever since its foundation. And along comes Ryoga (if he can find his way) who has the real hots for the pretty and very althetic (yes, VERY althetic) Akane who didn't really care for boys to begin with. AND the haughty upperclassman, Kuno himself got the HOTS for poor Ranma trapped in his feminine shape. Thus fireworks really flew at the Tendo Dojo residence and the local high school. But fortunately, there's a way to reverse the curses of the scarced Chinese springs: SCALDING HOT WATER! The very first book of a very winsome series all about a martial arts fantasy featuring a whole parade of the usual wide-eyed pubescent characters so often found in the whole blizzard of Japan's manga and anime!

Summary: Hilarious and Addictive!
Review: This is a hilarious story about a boy named Ranma. His father takes him to train in these cursed Springs in China. There is a story behind each spring of a creature that drowned in the spring thousands of years ago. If you fall into one, then when doused with cold water, you will turn into the form of whatever drowned in the spring you fell into. So, Ranma's father falls into "Spring of drowned Panda." And Ranma falls into "Spring of drowned Girl." ^_^ The only way to turn back into their regular forms is to be dowsed with warm water. In addition, Ranma is to be engaged! This part, gives the story a comical twist.

This is a GREAT story. I recomend it for ANYONE who loves comedies! But let me warn you, the plot is very, VERY addictive!^_^ Hope you enjoy it! Any questions? E-mail me: Boopsie1@aol.com

Summary: If you've never read manga before, start with Ranma!
Review: Ranma ½ was the first manga I had ever read, and it got me hooked! It could possibly be the best manga series ever written. It has everything: humor, romance, action, maritial arts (of every description), human interest, and even pathos. The first book was the most hilarious thing I'd ever read, but just when you think Takahashi sensei can't get any funnier, she does! So far I've read volumes 1-13 (I just ordered 14), and each one gets better and better. Go on and buy volume one, you won't regret it!

Summary: Ranma 1/2 (Volume 1)
Review: This is a great Manga series, when I first started noticing Manga, there was only serious types, with blood and gore. Then I came across Ranma 1/2, and I got hooked, if you love funny Manga, then this is for you! I only read the first novel, and I got hooked, I'm now intent on buying the whole series, but I'll have to wait considering all I get is an allowance, ^o^.

Summary: It's my favorite manga of all time!
Review: This is really great! I started off by borrowing some video tapes from a friend, got hooked and then got my own tapes. From there, I started buying these manga. Even though I had seen the videos of these episodes (numerous times), I still ended up laughing my head off (and until my sides hurt)! It's that good! And I really like and admire Rumiko Takahashi's artwork and creative genius. So far, I've got Volumes 1,2,3 and 5...and I want more! So buy this already! It's as funny as (if not funnier than) the animation!

Summary: One of the best!!!
Review: I love Rumiko Takahashi's work in general, but Ranma 1/2 is one of my favorites. The laughter and the insanity grows & grows with every installment of this well written, well drawn, out-of-control series. It's been one of my favorites for years, & one of the first manga titles I ever read. If you like this one, make sure to look at her other work as well.
