Summary: Another great Simpsons book
Review: This book picks up where the "Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family" left off and continues from season 9 thru season 10. It has all the same great features of the first book, but I don't think the episodes were as funny during these seasons as the rest of the earlier years. Still, this is another must-have for a fan. I just hope they keep releasing additions for each successive season.

Summary: A quickie, but useful.
Review: This book was a quickie, but I'm glad they put it out. So where are the rest of the volumes?The kept the same format as the first book, and have a nice tribute to Troy McClure, played by Phil Hartman who was murdured. Really, the "Simpsons" is a cultural phenomina on the level of the BEatles or Star Wars.

Summary: Simpsons Fans Rejoice!
Review: This is a great book and a "must buy" for anyone who loves the Simpsons. I'm one of those people who records Simpsons episodes and watches them over and over again for hidden jokes that I missed. This book (as well as its predecessor) proved to me that there were still many jokes/tidbits that I missed, despite my narcissistic habit of watching episodes to death. Buy it and enjoy!

Summary: The Simpson Bible's added chapters
Review: Well, we can give the creators of the Simpsons credit in two BIG places. One, they have constructed a continuation of their SIMPSONS A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OUR FAVORITE FAMILY in almost perfect form. It's an exact copy of the way the original book was presented. Episodes are summerized with popular sayings and sights recorded, we are treated to clear pictures of the episodes, more bios on characters in the show, bright colors, episode numbers, in other words, the works is presented in Simpsorific form. FOREVER even adds on a few additions such as a list of songs sung in the show, a very acurate discription of Barts music videos from the early 90's and a list of the works of the character Troy McClure, a list which sadly will not need to be updated. We fans miss you Phil. Secondly and MOST importantly, the writers (as stated by Groening in the forward) they made it a seperate book. NO ONE who bought the first book (like me) will end up getting scrooged into buying something they already own just to get the extra stuff. It's happened to many of us too many times, and lets hope this trend of good faith in marketing continues on. I compliment the writers in this area. If there is ANY problem with this book, it's that it is no where near the meatiness of the first book. COMPLETE gave us 8 seasons of the show, FOREVER is a minor 2. Regardless, if you loved the first book, the second one continues where the first one left off, just smaller. I would have given it 5 stars if they put off printing for at least another season. Oh well, good book anyway or as Mr. Burns would say "Excellent."

Summary: Not all the new episodes were in here
Review: When I bought this book, which is, nevertheless, a useful trivia book, my wife was a little upset to find out most of the newer episodes she remembered were too recent to be included. It's a very thin book, and perhaps they will come out with another one to combine with this one to have it the same amount of material and more up to date information.

Summary: Even better than the first book
Review: While not being super in-depth it has enough quotes, pictures and allusions to remind you just why you liked each episode. Since there are fewer episodes covered, each episode is given more room for pictures if not more information. Not always packed with inside information or anything, but definitely worth buying for a simpsons fan.

Review: You've probably read the not-to-be-mistaken-with "The Simpsons: A Guide To Our Favorite Family". Well, it ain't complete anymore, since they're still constantly making new episodes. This informs you about the later seasons. It still has the couch gags, mmm's, do'h's, chalkboards, things you may have missed, as they did in the other one, but with something else. It includes the Simpsons songs. The book also has Bart's music videos, like the "Bartman" with the line "eat your heart out Michael", in reference to the King Of Pop. As complete as it is, they're still going to have to make another one, with the extremely recent episodes with Nsync and Britney Spears. Made for anyone who has read the 1st one AND is Simpsons fan, buy this book...before it's too late.
