Summary: Been there, seen that, not so funny anymore!
Review: The first guide - and "The Simpsons" episodes it covered - was great! But with time the good ideas have disappeared. The newer episodes are just not so funny anmore - that's why my enthisiasm for the book suffers as well.

Summary: D'oh!
Review: The Simpsons Forever! A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family... Continued is just what it sounds like. However, unlike the first book; this one only has 2 seasons in it, covering all the episodes from #9 and #10. The book starts off with a forward from creator Matt Groening saying that "we could've just stuck this book at the end of the last book and charged you for it again, but you fans deserve better." Nice thought, but they basically did that anyway. This book is $[money] for two seasons, the other one is $[money] for 8 seasons. There's no reason at all why they should be charging us more than $[money] for it...

But, if you're a Simpsons fan like me, you'll shell out the money... And don't get me wrong, it's a great book, just like the first one. If do you have the first one, you'll need/want to get the second one, just be forewarned about the price tag...

Summary: A Hot Simpsons Injection!
Review: The Simpsons is an incredible merchandise machine. Though some people say the animated sitcom hit it's peak popularity in the early 1990's I still find the show to be utterly hilarious. It is almost surprising not to see a Simpsons "spin-off" like you do with so many other popular sitcoms. Although it is a given that those aren't animated but on the other hand those aren't usually as popular as long as The Simpsons have been.

This book, is a small but excellent continuation of the previous book, "The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family." The original book contained an amazing amount of details, facts, and humorous quips that define The Simpsons. The quotes and lines they select are classic. This sequel to that book delivers the same kind of material with more characters, couch gags, and guest stars. There is even a wonderful tribute to Troy McClure, voiced by the late great Phil Hartman.

If you or anyone you know enjoys The Simpsons then this book and it's predecessor are "MUST-HAVES." You learn many hilarious things that you may have missed while watching the episodes on TV. This is money well-spent!

Summary: Simpsons continued¿
Review: This book is a sequel to the previous episode guide that features seasons 9 & 10. It's full of fascinating things that can keep any Simpsons fan occupied for hours!

Summary: Great Continuation
Review: This book is an excellent continuation of The Simpsons: A Complete Guide To Our Favorite Family. The Simpsons Forever! begins exactly where its predecessor left off by covering the ninth and tenth seasons of this famous show. Each episode has a synopsis, a list of things you might have missed, and a list of some of the highlights from the episode. Included in this book is a list of the different beginning sequences of the show, a list of the times Homer says D'oh, and of course there are bios on many of the side characters that pop up on the show. There are many other things included that are too numerous to mention. Any Simpsons fanatic needs to buy this book and its predecessor for their unlimited wealth of information about the show.

Summary: New Simpsons Book is Great
Review: This book is another great one. A great companion to the new album, the 2 seasons in only 90 pages is a great companion also to the preceding book, A complete Guide to Our family. The shipping takes a while, but its worth the wait, (10 days).

Summary: Simpsons Mania
Review: This book is really cool for people who watch the show ocasionally or people who are Simpsons collectors. I really liked the book. It had tons of cool things to look at and read. If a new one came out, I would definately buy it too. This book is the greatest.

Summary: More of 'A Complete Guide...'
Review: This book is the wonderful sequal to A Complete Guide To Our Favorite Television Family. The Complete Guide was simply amazing, with every bit of information a Simpsons fan could want. The Simpsons Forever has all the same kind of info, possibally even more, but it lacks the amount of episodes. If Simpsons creators had waited maybe until 2002 or something, the book would be more effective, but instead, The Simpsons Forever has 3 episodes per 4 pages, making it seem like the book is packed with episodes when it is not.

I still overall think it is a wonderful book, but if you haven't read The Simpsons: A Complete Guide To Our Favorite Family, then don't even consider to buy The Simpsons Forever.

Summary: Very Complete
Review: This book most certainly lives up to its name. Every little Simpsons tidbit you would ever want or need to know is jammed somewhere in here. From everything that makes Homer salivate with hunger to all of Bart's chalkboard sayings, it's all here. Simpson fanatics look no further, this is your bible.

Summary: A Decent Continuation...
Review: This book picks up right where the last one left off....starting with season 9, that is. This time around, there is much to follow. Episode summaries, couch gags, Homerisms, and a few other bits. My personal favourite section would be the tribute to Troy McClure, in honour of the late-great Phil Hartman. The book is pretty full for the fact that it only covers two years worth material. I personally would have waited another couple of years before putting out a follow-up, but when something is hot, best thing to do is market it. If you're a die-hard fan, I'd say this book is a must have. If you're a once-in-a-blue-moon viewer, acquire the book by some other means. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
