Summary: Morbidly Humorous...
Review: ...And if you can't stomach it, then why waste your time here? Those who read these kinds of things should not be mistaken with those of slap-stick 'low-humor' denizens... we appreciate the darker side of life. Only problem I can find with these books is, the interest rate drops after several reads. I lost this gem in some forsaken abyss in the depths of my pandemoniac room... Man, I could cry right about now :-(

Summary: Unsurprising ways to die
Review: I bought this book on the strength of the amazing praise for it below. I can only think that the reviewers who laughed themselves sick over it must lead severely humor-deprived lives. While there are a few clever ideas here, all too many are trite, humdrum, and obvious, like an explorer being cooked in a cannibal tribe's pot. Like running into the back of a stopped bus on your bicycle. Like being in an elevator when the cable snaps. You might consider saving your money on this one. I wish I had.

Summary: Endless laughter, long after the book was looked at!!!!!
Review: I first saw this book in my spanish class in high school. The owner handed it to me and just sat back and watched as I broke out in laughter with every page I turned. That day in class was very quick compared to the usual hum-drum of day to day monotony. I didn't want that book to end ever. I liked it so much that I decided to go out and buy one for myself. That was 6 years ago, and the book is sitting right next to me by my computer. I still laugh every time I look at it! The book itself is now in shambles, with every page out of order and some missing, because I flipped through it so much!

You know, I wish there was a website that had his material on it, because I'm almost positive that Mr. Fleisher has come up with several new pictures that haven't been published.

What do you say, man? Do it for your fans! :)

Thanks! Joe R.

Summary: unpleasant way to spend money
Review: I found very little of this book to be amusing. Several pages of this collection attempts to entertain with racist sterotypes, especially portraying South Asians/Indians/Middle Easterners. Borrow this book if you must know what it contains (and don't trust a review, if you so choose...I made that mistake when I purchased this). Some parts are ok, but definitely, nothing fantastic.

Summary: Equivalent to the Bible
Review: I got this book as a gift, but I accidentally left it on an airplane!!!! I was busy throwing up when the plane landed, and I forgot about the book. But, I am telling you, THIS BOOK IS SOOOOO FUNNY!! But I guess you have to like this sort of humor.. The name of the book explains what the book is about. Anyway, if any of you found this book on an airplane, please give it back!!!! email me or something. :)

Summary: Extremely Funny!
Review: I picked this book up the other night and once I started looking through it, I was hooked. This book is hilarious. It had me laughing out loud evertime I turned the page. Though some of the cartoons in this book are a bit morbid, the majority of them depict highly unlikely situations that just make you laugh. This is a great book.

Summary: makes thinking about death fun
Review: Mr. Fleisher did a great job showing that even horrible mishaps resulting in pointless loss of human life can evoke a chuckle. I especially enjoyed the cartoons that had New York City featured, such a a crowded street or subway. And to prove to you that this isn't simply a collection of cynical New York death cartoons, let me remind you there are cartoons featuring rural life, and even one with an igloo!

Summary: Everybody was rolling on the floor laughing -- literally!
Review: My friend found this book at the Thrift Shop at our school. Why anyone would ever want to get rid of this book is beyond me. He got for $5, but I would say it's worth at least $10. He showed it to me first, and I loved it so much that I had to show it to the rest of our friends. Elan Fleisher really hit the nail on the head with this one.

Summary: Unsurprising ways to die
Review: One of the greatest books I have ever read. Looks great on the coffee table, makes a great first impression on new friends. My first copy fell apart because it got looked at so much.
