Summary: beautiful and brilliant
Review: I started reading Inu-Yasha after I saw the first few episodes of the anime on Adult Swim a few months ago. This is the first manga and the first Rumiko Takahashi that I've ever read and I've found it to be absolutely brilliant. I can't get enough. I spent most of the last few months tracking down and buying the 12 available graphic novels, quickly diminishing the size of my bank account. (I hope that the others are published quickly!)

This first book is what started it all. There are many other great plot summaries posted here, so I'll just say that I find the characterization, art and plot to be absolutely irresistable. The story continues to get more complex and the characters more interesting; the combination of horror, adventure, comedy and romance is unlikely, but I find that it all fits together perfectly. The dynamic between Inu-Yasha and Kagome is established immediately in this book and continues to get more complex and interesting in future editions. I love reading this continuing story, and I sincerely hope for a happy ending (but not any time soon).

Summary: Hooked by the Anime, Reeled in by the Manga
Review: I started watching InuYasha the anime on Cartoon Network a few months ago. I used to think that all anime was stupid and pointless dribble for little children, BUT I WAS SO WRONG!!! I watch a few animes right now, but by far, my favorite is InuYasha. After watching a few episodes of the great series, I knew that I had to read the manga. It's absolutely wonderful! I'm on the 4th volume now, and the breathtaking art is unbelieveable. And how could I forget to mention that the story line is spectacular! Definatly take the time to check this one out. You won't be disappointed!

Summary: Inu-Yasha the best book you'll ever read!
Review: I've always loved romance. I also became a recent fan of anime. I like Tenchi Muyo. But onward. I was so obssessed my friend gave me Inu-Yasha to read. I fell in love with it. I'm on the quest to get one for myself. BELIVE ME the art is astonding along with the enjoyable plot It's price it worth it. The author Rumiko Takihashi is a well known manga artist I totally respect her work. If you need a reminder she wrote Ranama 1/2 and some other terrific ones. But Inu-Yasha is my all time favorite.

I love romance and action stories Inu-Yasha includes both and keeps you reading and reading. You'll want to read it again and again. This is an awsome book you should buy. Tell your friends about Inu-Yasha! PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!

Summary: Great Story!
Review: I've read only the first two volumes of Inu-Yasha, but I thought it was great! The story is excellent and Kagome and Inu-Yasha's characters are fleshed out very well. I can't wait to get the next ones! And to the reviewer that asked where the romance is? Give it time! Rumikos characters develop their romance! It doesn't just happen right away! It picks up as the series goes on. With that said, pick this up! You won't be dissapointed!

Summary: Rumiko Takahashi's Best Yet!!!!
Review: If you're looking for a new manga to read, you've found the right title. Rumiko Takahashi has written some wonderful works in the past such as Ranma 1/2, Mermaid Forest, Mermaid's Scar, and Mermaid's Gaze, but none can compare with Inu-Yasha. This is a manga with something for everyone. It's genres are romance, action, drama, adventure, horror, and comedy. If you get the second edition of this manga, you will notice that it is rated T+ Older Teen, and not this ages 9-12. Parents be warned that it has intense graphic violence, nudity, some infrequent coarse language, and few more mature situations (this for the entire series in English so far). This manga is by far my favorite. Please check out rest of Rumiko Takahashi's manga. They're all worth a read....

Summary: Just Can't Wait For the Next One
Review: Inu Yasha is one of the best anime ever created. This dark adventurous series of a modern day high school girl who unknowingly is the reincarnation from a dark past. Through a magical well she ventures into a land of demons. She sets free a half demon inu yasha who remembers her past life. Together they meet friends and fight evil that come upon them. This manga is definetly a must have. With the open mouth exitement and the humorous cute crush between the half demon and the girl I can't imagine any one who could even put it down.

Summary: An excelent anime
Review: Inu-Yasha is a wonderful fantasy about a girl (Kagome) who gets pulled into ancient Japan. There, she meets Inu-Yasha, a half demon, who is eager for revenge. Reluctantly, the two team up together to try to collect shards of the Shikon Jewel. The jewel is said to give immortality to any demon who posseses it.

As Kagome and Inu-Yasha's quest progresses, they encounter many weird creatures who are all looking for the Shikon Jewel.

This teriffic comedy is a must for anyone into anime. I can't wait 'till the next book comes out!

Summary: Look for a great get away?
Review: Inuyasha is captivating and very addictive. This is Rumiko Takahashi at her best. Her most magical tale yet. Inuyasha draws you in from the first page and keeps you there. This is best Japanese comic to come ashore in a long time. You can't wait for the next adventure or the plot to unfold even deeper. The characters are all loveable. I don't think I have read or watched anything were I loved all the characters before. Even the villains!. Even though the graphic novels are thick it's never enough. Once you're done with one volume you have to read the next. This defiantly a story worth your time. This comic has enough action, mystery, romance, and fun to keep anyone entertained. They don't call Takahashi the queen of comics for nothing!
