Summary: Hilarious, sick, wonderful!
Review: My wife surprised me with this book for Christmas. As soon as I started reading, I remembered why I married her. In Me Own Words had me laughing out loud immediately and the laughs didn't let up until I finished the last page. A work of pure genius!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Completely hilarious!
Review: Okay, so if you're someone who like to laugh, and I mean fall off the couch, laugh til you cry, roll on the floor screaming kind of laughter... then this book is for you. The illustrations are really great but the twisted (in a good way) writing is what makes it amazing -- Bigfoot is hanging out in a NJ airport lounge with Koko the gorilla, playing in a Seattle grunge band called The Tinkles... it goes on and on. Roumieu's brilliantly original in every way -- there's nothing like this book.

Summary: Brings tears to my eyes - laughing so hard
Review: Perhaps I have too much time on my hands but this book made me laugh over and over. Everytime I pick it up there is something different in Roumieu's illustrations that i'll notice that will just have me in stitches. This book is a crowd pleaser! Where can I get more? Damn hilarious

Summary: TOO FUNNY!!!
Review: this book was absolutely hillarious, every page has you holding a new stitch in your side because it's so funny it hurt. granted the book has nothing to really do with bigfoot its the funnyest thing i ever read, a definite must read!!!

Summary: I almost peed my pants
Review: This is one of the funniest books I've ever read. The illustrations are amazing! They appear to be simple watercolors but are really essential to the story line (if you want to call it that). Bigfoot talks quite openly about his life, his emotions and ambitions. Bigfoot has feelings too. He covers issues ranging from having a tough childhood, not being able to have a date for the prom, weight and body hair issues, and his relationship with Koko the gorilla. You come to realize that Bigfoot is a brilliant misunderstood genius who wishes that his stalkers would leave him alone, but at the same time craves fame and fortune.

Summary: Pass this one up
Review: What a waste of time and money. As a dedicated sasquatch researcher, I learned absolutely nothing from this book. The illustrations were clever and amusing but the text wanting. My advice is to pass this one up completely.
