Review: This Book was AMAZING, just like evry other Calvin And Hobbes book out there. One of the best parts of this book is when calvin creates the "Cerebral Enhance-o-tron " when he has an assingment to do. I absolutley LOVE calvin and Hobbes, and i wish Bill Watterson would write more.

Review: This book was exceptionally(sp?) hilarious. I'd reccommend(sp?) it to anybody. Run out and buy it, QUICK! Like someone else said, it's a bit better than most of the Calvin and Hobbes books. I think that all these books relate to life SO much.

Review: This collection was great; I would say it is probably a little better than the average C&H book, which is an incredible achievement. In general, Calvin and Hobbes strips are consistently funny, a theme that seems a bit uncommon in the *average* comic.

Review: This is a very awesome C&H collection. I have read EVERY SINGLE C&H comic strip ever! . This has to be the funniest one. Also, one man says this is Watterson's last C&H book, but really, "It's a Magical World", is the last C&H book. Peace Out!

Review: This is definitely representative of Bill Watterson's style--imaginative and humorous. I read this book and liked it because the jokes really DO actually make you laugh -- many other comic strips don't -- and often address subtle issues. The only reason I gave this a 9 is because I think the book's organization could be done a little better. A great book. I recommend it to everyone

Review: This is one of the best collections of a brilliantly profound and hilarious comic strip. I have been reading and collecting Calvin & Hobbes since I was about Calvin's age, and it grows richer and more relevant every time I revisit my collection. This is pure genius captured here. I can't think of a greater exploration of the meaning of childhood, imagination, and discovery, and the philosophical themes are sublime. You might imagine that philosophical undertones in a newspaper comic would be tacky, awkward, contrived, pretentious, or something similar, but it is the opposite. By setting the philosophical musings in the world of a imaginative child, Watterson achieves a real feeling of honesty, wonder, and genuine attempts to understand and explain the crazy world we all live in. If there is any justice in art, these comics will be remembered for many years as one of the most valuable creations of the era.
