Summary: Still Good
Review: Although the art style here changes from the first volume, it's still vibrant and lively nonetheless. There is some sexual content here, but they don't let you actually SEE anything, so it isn't R rated stuff... Some of the scenes between Yuki and Shuichi, for example, can be quite confusing if you don't understand what it is that they're doing... ^-^; Eh heh...

Summary: In all of us, there's a school girl screaming for Shonen-Ai!
Review: Finally, Gravitation in North America! WHOO HOO!!! Gravitation is the best Shounen Ai manga I've ever read! It has the perfect blend of love and comedy, but if you're not into two guys in love with each other, I wouldn't suggest this. It's definately worth the $10.00 spent on it!

Summary: A little info and my opinion....
Review: Gravitation is my favorite manga yet. I read a few others such as InuYasha, Chobits, and CLAMP, but Gravitation is still by far my favorite.

For those of you who haven't already read Gravi, the story revolves around two characters; Shindou Shuichi, and Yuki Eiri. Shuichi is in a band 'Bad Luck' along with his partner and best friend Nakano Hiroshi, otherwise known as Hiro. At the moment, the band is only locally known, but the two are very popular at their high school; Tohoku High. One night when Shuichi is walking home from work, taking a shortcut, he's looking at his lyrics thinking about what his sister Maiko said earlier about a girlfriend. He sneezes and the lyrics blow away. This is where Yuki comes in, picking up the lyrics, then harshly criticizing Shuichi about them and the story progresses from there.

Vol 2 is a bit more graphic than Vol 1, but still good all the same. The book is for 16+, but that didn't phase me much. Gravi is a shonen-ai manga, otherwise known as boy/boy love. Shonen=boy, ai=love, thus creating boys love. And even if shonen-ai is iffy to you, it's still an enjoyable story.

The drawings are great, and the little notes and other things just add to the story, making it more interesting.

Summary: I Love Yuki!
Review: Gravitation is one of the best shounen-ai manga I've read. Full of bishies, comedy and angst, Gravi is a great story that centers around the relationship of the sweet, hyper Shuichi and cold, brooding Yuki.

The art in the book is a little sketchy, but one you get used to it, it's very fasinating. Murakami-sensai has a habit of sticking comments and other tidbits in her drawings, which makes Gravi all the more fun to read. That, plus the fact that Yuki Eiri is very fun to look at ^_^.

I don't have any major problems with the translation; however, I do wish that they had kept all the honorifics and the Japanese name order. Eiri Yuki just doesn't roll of the tongue the way Yuki Eiri does.

I'm also aware that some people dislike the way Yuki treats Shuichi. Yuki is harsh with Shuichi mainly because he's trying to protect himself from being hurt again. Besides, Yuki's cruel attitude just makes the times he's kind to Shuichi that much more sweet.

Overall, Gravitation is fun and interesting series for people who want to try shounen-ai manga. There's nothing to graphic or hardcore (at least to my knowledge)and the story outside Yuki and Shuichi's relationship is pretty entertaining as well.

Summary: I love this manga!
Review: I am a new shounen-ai manga reader, and I just love it! I had been waiting for the first Gravitation to come out, and after that I couldn't wait for Vol 2! My volume arrived way earlier then it was said to (it was supposed to come out Oct. 30) so that was a nice surprise.
And let me say, I loved this volume! Lots of nice shounen-ai scenes between Yuki and Shindou! If you like shounen-ai with lots of comedy and romance scenes, then get this!

Summary: Long live Gravitation
Review: I personally love Gravitation. The art is nice, and you'll notice that unless you're some kind of art critic. The characters are very likeable, though many dislike Yuki's treating of Shuichi. There IS a reason behind that. Yuki is not just a selfish bastard. In his past something happened to him that changed him forever. So please don't go around assuming that the romance between Shuichi and Yuki isn't going to change.
Gravitation also has a lot of great humor and plenty of bishies from Tohma to Hiro to Sakuma (okay, so maybe I'm the only one who thinks Sakuma's a bishie...) and of course, Shuichi and Yuki.
In this volume, things get really heated up. If you just like fluff, and light fluff at that, you will be whacked in the head by this book. As hinted at the preview of this volume in book 1, Yuki and Shuichi's relationship goes farther. This IS rated 16+ for a reason. If you believed that Gravitation was going to stay at 13+, it really doesn't.
One of the awesome things about this volume is the conflict between Shuichi and Hiro. Hiro's going to become a doctor, so he tells Shuichi that he has to quit playing as a guitarist. A lot more of Hiro's character is revealed in this book and who wouldn't want to know more about this bish? There's also the introduction of Yuki's brother, Tatsuha. ^_~
This book is filled with humor, and hot romance. I seriously suggest getting it.

Summary: FINALLY!!

Wait . . . I have to actually REVIEW this . . . uhm, I highly suggest any shounen-ai/yaoi fans read this, if you haven't already. Gravitation is, like, the BEST manga/anime ever. Seriously. The characters are brilliant, the art is beautiful, and it's very funny. And even if you don't like yaoi, I still say you read this. Like I said before, it's hilarious, and you'll enjoy it tons. Some of my friends like it, and they're not fans of yaoi.
In other words: READ. NOW!
