Summary: The New Classic
Review: Darby Conley has unwittingly backed into genius with his first collection of his great eccentric comic, Get Fuzzy. Buy as many copies of this book as you can afford and shove 'em into the hands of any friends, aquaintences, et. al. who are as yet unenlightened of the screamingly funny antics of a talking dog and cat and their exasperated owner. The Dog Is Not A Toy is a great intro to anyone who has not as yet been following the adventures and antics of this troop since their introduction a year and half ago to the daily newspapers. Rob Wilco, Satchell Pooch and Bucky De Katt will live forever in everyone's minds alongside other classic comic strip characters. This stuff is up there with Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side, Bloom County and Peanuts. Someone give Darby a Pulitzer already!

Summary: GET Get Fuzzy
Review: If Get Fuzzy isn't in your local paper yet, you're missing out on one of the finest comic strips in YEARS! Remember Bloom County? Remember Calvin and Hobbes? They're gone, and Darby Conley has filled the void. Bucky and Satchel are the best Anthromorphic animals to hit syndication. If you have pets, trust me, you'll wonder if he's got a camera in your home. If you don't have pets, adopt these two. They will win a place in your heart. I promise.

Summary: get fuzzy review
Review: To me more people in the world should be born like Darby Conley, with a good sense of humor, and depth. In this book I noticed that Darby, instead of making things 2D He goes the extra mile to make it 3D. Darby changes reality only a little by using a cat and a dog for characters. Each character matches their part exactly, Buckey is as evil as any other cat just with more atitude, and vocal chords that humans can understand what he is saying, Satchel is as sensitive as any dog just that he seems to like his watch a bit too much, all with calling it Lefty and everything, and Rob... dear Rob, poor Rob he has to put up with everything that Bucky does especially with that Tickle Me Elmo incident, but of course he seems to be a very nice and loving gaurdian of them. Overall this book seems to have a good mixture of characters making this an excellent book for anyone over ten.

Review: Come on, a hilarious cat, an easily confused dog and a weary pet owner...what more could you ask for? Get Fuzzy is the funniest comic debut in years. Buy 3 or 4 copies because the first few copies you buy will be ruined by the tears you spill all over the pages laughing so hard.

Summary: JUST AS CUTE AS A CAT'S EAR!
Review: In my corner of the world, we have not heard of "Get Fuzzy" (it does not appear in our newspapers) so this book was truly a new experience to me. Being the proud owner of not one, but two pampered Persian cats and a spunky Cocker Spaniel, I can understand only too well "where all the money goes!" I have always been a die-hard Garfield fan, and would not miss a day without the comic strip. However, this cartoon certainly rates a very close second. Any cat or dog owner is sure to relate only too well to these amusing and loveable characters, and the book contains a ton of laughs. Buy the book, it is absolutely marvellous!

Summary: What Garfield would be if it were funny.
Review: In my opinion the best cartoon strips ever written are or were: The Far Side, Calvin & Hobbes, Dilbert, and Get Fuzzy. Like the others, Get Fuzzy is funny and worth rereading. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the series (but then you don't really need my recommendation, if you already know how good it is). If you're not familiar with Get Fuzzy, go (online) and check out the last 30 days of the strip, it's worth it.

Summary: Bucky and Satchel Rule!!
Review: Get Fuzzy is right up there with Calvin and Hobbes, the Far Side, and Rhymes with Orange. What's so funny isn't always what the characters are saying or doing, it's the WAY that they are depicted. The expressions on their faces. The interactions between the three of them just crack me up. I tried turning down the corners of the pages to show my friends the ones that were especially funny and ended up with half the darn book folded over. Definitely a great stress reliever.

Summary: Ha Ha Ha
Review: This is such a cute cartoon. I just love Get Fuzzy and can't wait for the paper to come out each day to catch up on the antics of Satchel and Bucky. I have reread this several times.

Summary: Best Since Calvin and Hobbes
Review: I have never been much of a comic strip reader. Sure, I own practically every Calvin and Hobbes book collection, but I never actually read the comics in the newspaper. I would read them if I had the chance, but I never made it a priority. Until the day my local paper (the Sacramento Bee) printed a story about a new comic called Get Fuzzy. I decided to start checking it out, boy am I glad I did. Get Fuzzy is definitely the best strip in our paper.
It's definitely a different style of humor, but that does in no way make it inferior. One of the things that I really love is the attention to detail. For example, in one strip, Rob loses all of his hair. Every strip after that for about a month, showed Rob ever so slowly growing his hair back. It really adds alot. Also, I like the references to long past strips. For example, in one strip, Bucky sends in a manuscript for a book to a publisher. In a strip about 3 months later, he receives a reply. It's really great. The drawing style is also very nice. The characters are extremely lovable(Satchel is so cute!) The confined apartment does get a bit old sometimes, but that's about the only complaint I have.
