Summary: So worth the money
Review: Conley brings together a group of characters that are totally dysfunctional and highly amusing. While it takes a while to warm up to these homely, sometimes rude characters, htis book will make its audience smile often. Bucky is so obnoxious--and we've all known people and cats just like him. Rob is funny and sarcastic and Satchel is so sweet and often unaware that you just have to adore him. "This chili does what a Hoover does" --Bucky "It runs the FBI?" ===Satchel :) CHeers to Conley

Summary: You have to read this book!!!!
Review: This has to be one of the funniest comics I have ever read. I totally agree ... that this is the best comic strip since Calvin and Hobbes. I CAN NOT wait for the next book due this month! My favorite strip from the book is where Bucky is obsessed with getting a new can opener but Rob goes to bed at like midnight and tells him to wait until morning, then the next two frames are black with only the time on the clock (one at like 2am one at like 5am) and an outline of Bucky's head. The two black frames are followed by a frame at like 8am with Rob waking up to Bucky standing in the same place and Rob asking if he'd been there all night then Bucky says something like I seem to have a lot of free time. Classic.

Summary: Good, but not great
Review: I've been reading "Get Fuzzy" online for a while now. I love how the animals are drawn and the personalities are very good. Though I rarely actually laugh out loud, it's still an enjoyable read.

I'd think the comparisons to Bloom County are mainly because of Satchel's naivete. He's very Opus-like in his wide-eyed innocence. And Rob Wilco does bear a very slight physical resemblance to Steve Dallas (though Bucky has Steve's personality)...

Summary: Pea Brained Pals Unite
Review: Darby Conley creates a masterpiece with Bucky and Satchel. Their antics brighten lives of all ages. I have given "The Dog Is Not a Toy: House Rule #4" to young friends and they cannot wait for the next book to arrive, nor can they resist quoting from this one. The bottom line is Darby Conley's imagination is refreshing and hilarious. Bucky's "rotten kitty" image and Satchel's "happy about nothing" personality are teamed up for a great laugh.

Summary: funny.
Review: Granted, this cartoon is very reminiscent of Garfield, although the cat in this comic must be on PCP or just twisted. I found 'Get Fuzzy' to be more appealing than a good number of new comics out, and is one of the best of the lot.
I have noticed a lot of "reviewers" complaining that the book contains 'unfunny' strips, I for one found the book to have an abundance of very good strips, especially when the animals find the credit cards. Overall, I a very good book. I plan to buy the next book as soon as it hits the stores.

Summary: Get Fuzzy... The cartoon that makes getting up worth it
Review: Darby Conley has struck a gold mine with Bucky, Satchel and Rob in Get Fuzzy. The dynamics between the characters never fail to make me laugh, and the comic strip is contagious. Everone who I show it to is addicted! This book couldn't be a better purchase!

Summary: If you're a pet owner...
Review: ...you'll understand this cartoon book. And you'll unfortunately empathize with it. This is one of the best books of it's type. Pet owners can see their pets in it. And for those without pets, they can start to understand why people have pets (and why they complain constantly about them).

Summary: A Master Cartoonist
Review: Conley is a great cartoonist and has an unmatched wit. The best comic out there in papers and on the net by far. If you want to check this out online go to [the website]

Yes he's affiliated with the Scott Adams comic strip. Adams actually recommended Get Fuzzy a while back. I like Dilbert a lot. I always have, but Get Fuzzy is the best comic I've ever read. Better than Non Sequiter, Calvin and Hobbes, Foxtrot, Bloom Country, Farside and all the rest. This would be a great show and probably actually get good ratings unlike the poorly conceived Dilbert UPN experiment. I watched that one and while I enjoyed it, I knew instantly it was going to fail. This one on the other hand, I have a feeling Get Fuzzy would suceed.

The book was basically a copy of all the strips that had already been done. He has another new book coming out as well with likely more copies of strips. I still plan to buy it in order to support Conley. He's the most talented guy out there.

Summary: Excellent Read
Review: Excellent book, the way the 3 main characters interact is just the way you would want to see a dog and a cat interact with a human. This is a seriously funny book from a very clever man.

Summary: Best Book Ever!
Review: Ok, so I bought this book a little over a year ago and I love it. Mostly when I buy comic books I read them once, and then they are stored on the bookshelf. Get Fuzzy is always out, I'm constantly reading it over and over again, and still laughing constantly. It makes my day! I recommend this book to everyone.
