Summary: the dog IS a toy
Review: The title sums this all up: The Dog is Not a Toy (House Rule #4). It perfectly describes the relationship of Bucky and Satchel, and Rob. The playfulness--the edgy playfulness and biting wit. This is pretty much the only strip worth reading now that The Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes are retired.

Summary: Hiya
Review: I didn't think this was a good book! I didn't like it how Fred jumped on the dog and started attacking him!!! and I think Chadwick

Summary: Great!
Review: This is the first of hopefully a long line of Get Fuzzy books. Since Get Fuzzy showed up in the Cincinnati Post a couple years ago, it has quickly become one of my favorite comics. Whether its the tempremental, ornery Bucky Katt or the dumb but loveable Satchell Pooch, this comic will appeal to everyone, especially those who own cats. If you like Garfield, you'll love this comic! This is a must-have for any cat owner, cat lover, or any animal lover.

Summary: Don't buy this if you already have "Groovitude"
Review: The strips in "The Dog Is Not a Toy" are great but they and the strips in "Get Fuzzy 2, Fuzzy Logic" are both included in the
"Groovitude" anthology. So don't buy this one if you already have "Groovitude."

Summary: Awesome.
Review: This my favorite comic strip...anything with Bucky Katt has GOT to be funny. My copy of this book is dog eared, I've read it so many times. Get your own copy and see what i'm talking about.

Summary: Get Fuzzy Rox!!!
Review: Get Fuzzy: The Dog Is Not A Toy, is a very entertaining book. It is funny and never leaves you bored. Darby Conley has a ton of talent. I highly reccommend this book for readers of age 10 and over. It is a book for a good humored animal loving person.

Summary: Excellent new comic
Review: My favorite comics are "Calvin and Hobbes," "Bloom County," "Dilbert" and "Mutts." Anyone familiar with those strips would know that my giving "Get Fuzzy" 5 stars & equating it with those strips is high praise indeed. I didn't immediately like "Get Fuzzy" when I first started reading it. It has grown on me. This strip is BETTER in book form than it is in the newspaper. It reads better in book form. It grows on the reader. I love how the strips are cumulative. I love that Conley tells stories through a series of strips. I love how he returns to themes. I love how something will come up in passing in one strip and then get expanded in another strip much later. I love the consistency of the characters. And I love the way this strip is drawn. I hope it runs for a long, long time & the quality holds up. This collection is one to read and re-read. I don't laugh out loud much, but I sustain a strong smile for most of the book.

Summary: The adventures of Satchel and Bucky
Review: Bucky, everybody's favorite psychotic Siamese is, of course, the star of this book. Darby Conley knows his cats and dogs and illustrates this in every cartoon. Rob - who is owned by Bucky and Satchel - share the adventures with this yin-yang combination.

"Get Fuzzy" is a deservedly popular strip. Buy this book and you'll see why it is so popular.

Summary: Great Comic
Review: Get Fuzzy is a great comic strip that always makes me laugh. I think people should quit viewing it as a Bloom County or Garfield rip off. I personally don't enjoy Bloom County but yet enjoy Get Fuzzy and remember it's a comic strip don't over analyze. My recommendation is read Get Fuzzy for yourself, I think you'll like it.

Summary: Criminal Intent!
Review: It is so much a crime that Conley has created this disappointing charade of a comic. To sum things up, all one has to say is that it smells so bad of previouse strips, mainly of Bloom County and Garfield, that if one looks long enough he can see Opus in Satchel and Steve Dallas in Rob (but only in drawing style, not in humor). How ironic that his name is Rob, for all Conley did is "rob" other talented comic writers of their original ideas. Hopefully this strip will disappear before any lawsuits are brought onto Conley, at least for his sake.
