Summary: Stop complaining about translations, geez
Review: Viz had to get their translations approved by Masashi Kishimoto, so I don't see what the problem is. Kage bushin no jutsu is 4 japanese WORDS. That's why they changed it. I'd rather them call it Shadow clone technique/art instead of art of the doppleganger myself, but the name change doesen't affect my enjoyment at all. If you're too wrapped up in names to enjoy the manga, then you need help. =/

Sharingan and Kamehameha(since you mentioned dbz) are words created specifically for attacks (however, in kamehameha's case, it was taken from a hawaiian king, heh).

Stupid n00b anime/manga fans are ruining things for everyone with their complaining. If you're too cheap to buy an 8 dollar manga novel, then that's fine, but don't try to get other people to do the same unless you have a vaild/worthwhile point.

By the way, this volume of naruto rocks. Don't miss it!

Summary: They killed Naruto!!
Review: Viz really did a horrible job translating Naruto. I had expected alot better from them, but they disappointed me. If you wanna see what they messed up on (detailed) and want to help in getting it changed, you should go here:

it's really worthwhile for all the diehard Naruto fans outhere.

Summary: Enthusiastically written and drawn
Review: Volume 1 of Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto begins the action-packed manga (Japanese comic) saga of a twelve-year-old boy undergoing the tests of the ninja in his home village. He is a showoff, a klutz, and an unpopular young man, yet hidden within him is a terrible power - a nine-tailed fox demon that once claimed the life of the village's greatest champion. Enthusiastically written and drawn, Naruto doesn't disappoint in terms of action yet offers a strong dose of comedy and whimsy lest it take itself too seriously. A highly enjoyable, thoroughly entertaining read, Naruto is especially commended to the attention of manga and Japanese anime enthusiasts.

Summary: anime vs manga
Review: Well, SSJSki, I won't resort to calling you a name for stating your opinion, however, the anime series includes everything from the manga, it doesn't change a thing. However, it adds voices, color, and best of all, movement. You can see the fights in much better detail, and the special effects during certian battles (ochimaru vs. saske, rock lee vs. gaara, et cetra) are just great. Personally, I believe the voices (Im talking about the fansubs here, so not a translation) are great, and fit the characters quite well. This is why I mentioned the anime series being better than the manga.

Summary: Naruto no jutsu!
Review: Wow! Naruto is here in the U.S!! I would recommend Naruto to everyone!

At first i didn't take naruto very serious, hearing thats it's a shounen anime/manga (meaning it mainly captures male viewers/readers), but once i gave it a chance, i fell in love!

Naruto is truly a great series, one of the best in fact. Both the anime and Manga are simply too great! The anime follows the manga so much, your actually reading the manga as u watch the anime. Although the manga is way ahead of the anime, i still watch it. I can watch and read naruto so many times and it will never bore me.

I'm usually the type of person who likes to read mangas that have good plots. Not some long running plot that won't go anywhere for the longest time. Naruto; however, is long but the story keeps getting better. Thats the glory of it! :D

So what are you waiting for?! go buy/watch/read Naruto! Do anything as long as u get naruto in ur system!

oh by the way, i agree with nathan, if Masashi kishimoto approved the translation, it's ok with me! i actually think it's not that bad. :)
