Review: Alrighty. Megatokyo rocks. Piro is awesome. Largo is awesome. Seraphim is awesome. Boo is awesome. How can you NOT love a series that pokes fun at anime, gaming, and Gamera flicks? D00d, as they say. ^__^.
Piro and Largo, trapped in Tokyo, and their two realities make for a lot of fun! There is drama, tragedy, comedy, and, of course, zombies.
I can't wait to see all of the extra material, too! Yay!
Buy this book! Support Megatokyo! Read, get addicted, and read online! ^__^.

Summary: Enjoyable and accessible
Review: Ever since my introduction to this webcomic two years ago, I have thoroughly enjoyed my weekly adventures into the world of Megatokyo and the misadventures of Piro and Largo, two American gamers stranded in Japan. (A circumstance that is entirely their own fault, I might add.)
Fred Gallagher and Dark Horse Comics combined to produce this wonderful print copy of Chapters 1 and 2 of the Megatokyo story, adding the highly amusing, if painful to see, SGD strips and a new section collecting the drawings of Piro and Largo's gameworld and an excellent short story based on that world. I hope to see more print editions of Megatokyo and maybe even a continuation of the Endgames story. Highly, highly recommended.

Summary: Singing the praises
Review: I must say, congrats to Fred for getting picked up by Dark Horse!

This is an amazing comic, been reading it now for... 2 years or so I think.. Keeps you coming back for more all the time.

As for book 2.. A much better quality than book one was by IronCat.. I have the IronCat book 1, but as soon as Dark Horse relases it, I'm getting that one as well.

This is a must read for everyone, this WILL become the staple must read for all manga fans, as much as Akira and Ghost In The Shell is for anime fans.

Summary: So Very Worth Your Money.
Review: I'm obliged to give this book 5 stars first of all simply because it makes me happy that an artist can quit his day job and actually make a living doing comics full-time. The rest of the reasons for the 5 stars have to do with how much the comic ROCKS. I started reading Megatokyo online a couple years ago at a friend's recommendation, and immediately fell in love with the style of art, and the subtleties of the characters and the balance between humor and drama.

The ONLY negative thing I must mention about this book is that it's...small. (though it's maybe slightly bigger than the first release of the first volume.) When you're used to the full glory of Fred's art on your computer screen, it's hard to resign yourself to such a tiny volume. I realize there are probably budget constraints etc to deal with, and I utterly forgive it. But I'd being lying if I didn't say I was a little sad that it's not a bit larger.

All in all, though, I HIGHLY recommend that you buy the book, read the rest on the website, and purchase all the rocking cool Megatokyo swag that's available at the ThinkGeek store.

Summary: Are you l337?
Review: If you can understand the title of this review, then this is a book that you have to have! The plot follows the misadventures of two people, who could not possibly be any more different, that got stuck in Tokyo after a failed attempt to get into E3 (read the first book!!!) Their stories continue in this volume. Will Largo defeat the 3v1l? Will Piro ever gorw a spine around girls? You will have to read to find out. Save your bandwidth and support MT! After all, you dont want people to start thinking you are a minion of the 3v1l, now do you?

Summary: Highly Recommended
Review: MegaTokyo takes American comic strips and blends them with Japanese comic art styles and stories. These comics are dangerously funny and feature high quality drawings.

Enjoy the lighter side of comics and don't take yourself too seriously with these comics. Full of great laughs and good storytelling. I recommend you read this book and share it with your game-loving, anime/manga-fan, or just plain geek friends.

Summary: Better quality than Ironcat
Review: Much higher print quality than the Ironcat vol1 graphic novel. Also the quaity of art and story telling in this volume increase dramatically and Fred Gallagher shows hes got what it takes and why he owns one of the most popular webcomics ever.

Oh and you can read the whole thing at megatokyo.com but trust me it flows 10 times better in book form

Summary: Piro the hero!
Review: Must have! Just don't read it too fast. Take the time to enjoy each of the subtle plot twists and character relationships. Not to mention the madness and mayhem.
