Rating: Summary: FY IS THE BEST!!!! Review: This is the best manga/ anime series ever created!!!!! BUY IT and support Pioneer and Animerica for bringing this incredible series over.
Rating: Summary: Listen to me!!! buy it now! buy it now! buy it now....! Review: This was such a good manga! It was excellent! FY has all thebest things a story needs: action, suspense, romance, and humor! Ithas a great story line, and anyone who likes manga and anime will adore it! You'll find yourself falling in love with the characters, too! (My faves are Chichiri and Tasuki!!!) Amazon also sells the anime too! SWEET I can't wait to get more! If you like Sailor Moon, you will love this, (but this is way better. I don't think the two should even be compared because FY is way more grown up....)so in my own words BUY IT NOW!!!
Rating: Summary: The Most Wonderful Story Ever Written/Drawn in Shoujo Manga! Review: I am so glad to know that people are finally recognizing this story in the US. I've read the Chinese version (can't read Japanese), saw the episodes, and read this novel. Believe me, it is absolutely wonderful. Yuu Watase is a brilliant storyteller and artist, and I adore her talents. If anyone want to know this, she is currently working on a story called "Ayashi no Ceres." Her art style changed a great deal in her new manga, and it looks even better than before. Take my word, Fushigi Yuugi rules!!! I've been into that manga for 5 years!
Rating: Summary: A Chinese/Japanese NeverEnding Story Review: Wonderful story full of magic. It can most easily be compared with The NeverEnding Story by Michael Ende, complete with a magic book, joining the story, and friends and foes. The manga illustration is wonderful, though a bit 'busy' at times. Recommened for anyone who loves a good fantasy tale with magic and mystery.
Rating: Summary: Excellent manga choice Review: The different characters, the story, is all pure gold. Anyone is guaranteed and adventure from reading FY. The only con I can think of is Miaka, she's a little too naive and a bit annoying, but for the most part, she's ok. The only people I can think of not liking this book are those who maybe hate any sort of romance...this really appeals to anyone.
Rating: Summary: *drool* Review: Fushigi Yugi is my favorite anime and manga. Watase Yu is a brilliant artist and story teller. The guys are SOOOOOO fine! The plot rules. How can someone not love a story where a girl gets sucked into a book and has many hot guys fawning all over her? Not only that, but FY is a very touching story that can be absolutely hialrious at times, but also so tear jerking. I've shed many a tear over FY. BUY IT--- it's the greatest!
Rating: Summary: BEST MANGA OF THEM ALL Review: I'm so glad to see that finally people are recognizing fushigi yuugi for its great story! The sales rank has gone from 60,000 to 2,000!!! I've read this story in CHinese, Japenese, and in English and take my word for it--this is a FABOLOUS story! It's full of heartfelt moments and tear jerkers and humourous episodes....It's got everything!!! Sailor moon and DBZ lovers will love this!!
Rating: Summary: One of the funniest mangas ever made. Review: If you like manga that combines comedy, romance, action, and magic, then this is the story for you. Miaka Yui finds an old book in her school's library. When she opens it, she's literally transported to another world--Ancient China. The more often she enters the book, the more involved she gets with that time and place. She even falls in love--with the jack of all trades Tamahome(talk about gorgeous!). Fushighi Yugi is definitely worth the money.
Rating: Summary: YOU SHOULD READ THIS! Review: This book was terrific. I read a little about Fushigi Yugi on a couple other internet websites, and I wasn't disappointed. The only thing is that it ends at a cliffhanger! I can't wait until book #2 comes out!
Rating: Summary: *_* All I can say is WO AI TAMAHOME!!!! Review: *SIGH* I can only wish I ever met a guy as handsome and noble as Tamahome... it may not seem that way at first, buy you'll see it in later novels. This book series is chock-full of bishounen (at least 5... and the 5 I'm referring to are main characters!!!) The only thing that I'm concerned about is whether Viz is actually going to use Chichiri's "no da" after every sentence when he shows up or whether they're going to use "ya know." I personally like "no da" better. For those of you who don't know the series already, "Fushigi Yugi" translated into English means "Mysterious Play" (as in playing a game) or "Wonderous Game" or something like that. Poor stupid Miaka and her friend Yui get sucked into an ancient Chinese book and get saved by (bishounen #1) Tamahome. Yui gets thrown back to the real world and continues reading about Miaka's adventures in the book. In book one, you are also introduced to (bishounen #2) Hotohori, the emperor of Konan country, and Nuriko. Nuriko has a secret, however...Yuu Watase rocks!! WO AI FUSHIGI YUUGI!!!
