Summary: great
Review: One of the best anime I've ever read...I'm not really into the girl's anime thing but Fushigi Yuugi is completely different from anything I've ever seen. Yes, it does have perhaps too many sappy romantic moments, the only part I hate about the series. But the characters, plot, and art is wonderful. Especially if you've seen the anime, the manga will be a classic edition to your library.

Summary: One of the best series ever
Review: I'm one of the biggest Fushigi Yuugi otaku's ever!

*otaku- obsessive fan

And for anyone who loves anime and manga, well hey, for anyone out there, I would definately recomend this book (although you should read Priestess first or you might get confused). Theres alot of character development (and very big and VERY suprising discovery about one of them) and the art and story line are beautiful, but I hope your patient for the next one because the end is a major cliffhanger.

Summary: Fushigi Yugi: the Mysterious Play: Priestess
Review: It was just as good as the Japanesee ones that I get in Buckhead.I think any girl manga reader would love this series!

Summary: cool manga
Review: Fushigi Yugi was a book that I had just picked up at a book store because I had extra money. I loved it! I think that it ranks up there with such mangas as Rayearth and Sailor Moon! It was that good! I love the touchie feelie part where the dude is walking aroud Miaka and I love the part where Miaka finds out that the person that she thought was a girl was a guy and it has the large word TOUCHIE there. I thought that thing was the most hilarious thing in the whole wide world! It's a really good manga so I would suggest reading it!

Summary: This manga is the best! No, the BEST of the best!
Review: I loved this manga, my friend first intoduced me into Fushigi Yugi when she INSISTED That i watch tape 8 with her, I fell in love there and then! I can't wait until i have the whole set (which i guess could take a while...) For an anime lover that's just starting out, Fushigi Yugi is a great story! The art is fantastic and so is the whole premis! (I may have sense in books and videos, but I can't spell!) Fushigi Yugi is a manga that can't be put down from start to finish! I read my copy within 45 minutes after I recieved it! And I've read it over and over and over....again since!

Summary: As good as the "Priestess"
Review: For those of you who don't know, "Oracle" is the second volume of Yu Watase's manga, Fushigi Yugi. In volume one, we were introduced to Miaka, who gets magically plunged into a book entitled "The Universe of The Four Gods"; a sort of a Chinese fairy-tale, if you will. In it, she meets a couple of very hot guys who fall in love with her (well, this is *shojo* after all ^_~). In order for Miaka to escape the book (who'd wanna! ), she has to find the "seven constelations" (seven people, each of whom have a chinese character for a constelation) and release the power of Suzaku. In book two, we start to get a better feel for the characters. At times it does get a little melodramatic, but it was still a very sweet and funny book. I think the reason I like Watase sensei, even though I don't go for shojo in general, is that she sort of mocks the conventions associated with girl's manga. The "Pardon the Parody" sections are perfect examples; in them, Watase sensei takes scenes from this manga, changing the last frame to make it into a joke. They are simply hilarious, and help to keep the manga from seeming too sappy. All in all, "Oracle" is a good follow up to "Priestess." Be warned, though: It ends in a clifhanger (arrgg! Why don't they publish manga faster?) ^_^

Summary: Great Comeback
Review: Fushigi Yuugi Vol.2 is a great comeback to the first one. It's filled with drama, comedy, and tiny bit of romance. The only thing that will get you mind crazy is the cliff-hangers*

*cliff-hanger-a state where the book or chapter ends with a situation that the reader wants to know what happens or what the solution was. Example: "The murderer is..." Mr. Green announced.

To find out who the murderer is, stay tuned for next week to find out.

Then you go crazy wanting to know who that was.

Summary: Great Art and Story!
Review: This has got to be one of my FAVORITE Manga(japanese Comic's)!I love the story and art that Watase has created. Very good story pole, well done, and it leave you tuning-the-page. Great book for the Manga lover or Anime, Full of Love, Adventure, and Magic!

Summary: One of the Best
Review: I was really impressed when I read this novel. The story line is absorbing, and the art work was wonderful. If you liked Sailor Moon, you'll probably love Fushigi Yugi. I would agree with people ,though, that it probably isn't for young readers because there are some mature subjects.

Summary: Anime Fan all around
Review: I love any Anime I can get my hands on. I have seen the anime in subtitled up to episode 12 I hope to see all of it. I tell everyone to read this book who love Fushgi Yugi.
