Summary: excellent
Review: I borrowed this book from a friend and it took me one day to read it because I just couldn't put it down. I love the characters, the humor...everything. If everyone tells you that you have an odd sense of humor this is a comic book you must have.

Summary: oh, the joy of this book thingie
Review: basically if you havnt read this book yet you must be either dead in your grave(you should still read it anyways)or you are one of those 'i dont read books cuz im cool' people so, DAMN YOU!PEOPLE WHO HAVNT READ THIS...its funnie and has really good artwork that makes me jelous down to the root of my soul and bone marrow...i remember one day, explaining this book to my mom, and as she looked at me strangely and said 'thats sad' i imagined forcing her to read it, because she was neither dead or one of those 'cool' peoples and i did not understand the concept. besides the squee part of it theres a lot of extra goodness in here for you and me to enjoy and stuff(to bad its not in color though)so if you like comiks and funniness and good art buy this...but dont explain it to your mom unless she is super or you want her to stay far away from you like my mommy does...im officially rambling on and on and on now....goodbye

Summary: The Words!
Review: Okay, I was first turned onto the Squee series because of the Nick how Invader Zim, witch totally rules. I got the first issue of Squee at a store. Because it was store they sold it to me. I started reading the words, and it seemed sortta jumbled and not that great. The story was somewhat bland and forgettable, but the second story where Squee watchs his friend be fangouriously devoured by a rabid dog (witc was after his peanut butter and Jelleeeee sandwitch), was hilarious. I kept on reading then when I got to the mini-comic, Happy Noodle Boy, I laughed my head off. It was so idiotic and Genius that I needed more.

I bought this book manly for the four Noodly comics contained in it. I didn't know if the other Squee comics would be good or not based on my mixed emotions from the first one. The later Squee's were probably the funniest things ever (except for of course Squrrels, lookathim storing his nuts.).

The other mini comics contained in this book are really quite forgettable. The meanwhile... Comics are manly from the NNY series and are very sick and twisted. Although I enjoyed some of them I just think they could have been better. And that horrible Wobbly Headed Bob series. Man that is not funny at all. Moan Moan Moan. I couldn't get past the third issue. The Noodle Boys on the other hand were excellant!

In conclushun, I feel very strongly that you should...GET THIS FREAKIN BOOK! and skip wobbly headed bob. He was the reason I gave this four stars. Try out Roman Dirge's Lenore comics too. They might be even better than Squee!

Summary: This is a must for any dark comic lovers

Summary: Eye Candy I can appreciate
Review: Little kids rejoice, there is hope for your doomed generation. A cartoon named "Invader Zim" was released awhile ago on nickolodeon; the creater, you guessed it, Jhonen Vasquez. Now, after watching that, I knew squee would be very similar, and if you look closely, you'll notice that they're VERY alike (some examples include Ms. Bitters, the aliens from "abducted", and others). Conclusion, get this book.

Summary: MUST GET THIS BOOK!
Review: Personally, I have not seen the big book version. I own the indivitual comics myself but all in all I believe they are basically the same. Being a complete Jhonen obsessor, it is hard not to love this book but I assure you, even if you have no idea who the heck Jhonen Vasquez (He has created Jhonny the Homicidal Maniac, Invader Zim, I Feel Sick, etc) is you'll be falling off your chair in horrific laughter. Squee! (No typo, it's suppose to end in an exclamation mark) is a comic about a yound boy by the name of Todd, better known as Squee. His parents hate him, he has no friends (unless you count Satan's son and a homicidal maniac), and he spends plenty of time talking to his freakish teddy bear, Shmee. Just to make things worse, anything that's terrifying, horrific, grotesque, or down-right bad has happened to him. From being chased by aliens, to being almost eaten by grand-fathers, to zombie attacks, this little boy has seen it all. It seems the only thing that helps him through it is Shmee. Jhonen is a pure genius. His work is amazing. Just a warning: This book's humor is a tad twisted. It is not meant for the weak. Overall, get this book!

Summary: "Squee" is wonderfully funny!
Review: Ever since I saw this book, I would flip through its hilariously disgusting stories. Squee is basically that frightened innocent little kid inside of all of us, and despite all of aliens and gore and things that would make censors cringe (and binge!), this is a great comic that will keep you laughing until your lungs are desparately crying out for air.

Summary: Sweet Melancholy
Review: This book ensnares a sweet little boy who is caught up in the attrocities of the world such as dysfunctional parents, boogie men, and next door neighbor's named Nny. This is not for the timid or easily offended reader as you are destined for a tumultuous ride into this boy's world accompanied by his teddy bear and his fears against everything. I highly recommend this book to those who are looking for something sadly comedic.

Summary: fun
Review: I'm a big fan of Jhonen Vasquez's work, having read JtHM before getting Squee. I really enjoy both series. Squee is, overall, funnier. It takes a much goofier approach than JtHM, without the social commentary. The Meanwhiles and all that are great too, and Happy Noodle Boy is great psychotic fun. Wobbly-Headed Bob gets a bit old after a while, but the rest is good enough to make up for it. He can be kind of amusing, though, if taken in small doses. I also love the fact that the Antichrist's name is Pepito.
