Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Accurate, Frank, and Profundly Simple
Review: MARRIED LOVE is an excellent resource for mariage counselors and premarital counselors, as well as for engaged or married couples. The Clarks speak frankly, honestly, and biblically about human sexuality from a Christian perspective. Their highly descriptive explanations of the male and female anatomy, and of specific sexual practices, answer questions that many Christian couples might be embarrassed to ask.

The Clarks discuss the significance of an intimate relationship and how it impacts all areas of married life. They give attention to a biblical understanding of what is and is not appropriate in regard to sex in a Christian relationship.

The book also addresses the context of sexualtiy in the broader scope of the relationship, and the significance of effective communication between the husband and wife. The book is written in simple language, and helpful "Tips for Him" and "Tips for Her" appear thorughout the book.

One of the first couples I introduced to the book had been married for over twenty years, and said this book taught them things about themselves and each other that they had never heard or discovered, and addressed questions about specific sexual activities that they each had pondered in their mind, but had kept to themselves all these years.

I am grateful for this fresh and insightful resource that is helpful in counseling, and that I can confidently recommend to couples seeking guidance in this area of their relationship.
