Summary: Seeking Godly Women
Review: A Women After God's Own Heart is a must read for all Christian women desiring to live as Christ would want us to live. Sis. Dollar's work is both bible based and easy to understand. I especially enjoyed the confessions and personal inventory at the end of each chapter. Thank you Sis. Dollar for a needed bible based book for women of God.

Summary: Consider this book for your small group
Review: Taffi Dollar's book is well-written, loving, down-to-earth, and so touching. She explains the Bible's teaching of how God wants us as women to live -- not so that we'll be overwhelmed, but so that we'll be closer to Him. She tells us that although the Bible's job description for a godly woman is not something most of us can completely fill, God wants us to do our best at what He has called us to do. Her chapter on choosing our attitude was especially helpful. After reading this book, I am able to appreciate even more God's loving direction provided for women through His Word. Even though I found the book so helpful and inspiring, I was a little timid about recommending a discussion book for my small group (a mix of both single and married women), but it turns out that they love it, too. The chapter discussion questions have uncovered some heartache, a lot of joy, and some raucous laughter. (Please notice that there is another book with this same title but by Elizabeth Hanford.)

Summary: For the woman who wants more out of her relationships!
Review: This book was enlightening to say the least. When my fiance and I started exploring the depth of our relationship, I turned to this book. I learned how I was contaminating my relationships by being out of order. You cannot get in order by getting out of order. This taught me the importance of praying to the head of my husband to be. I learned what it means to be submissive without feeling like I was headed toward a life of bondage and servitude. Taffi gets real personal in order to bring a reality check to sistas who think they are always right or justified. She offers insight that is holistically beneficial to anyone in a relationship. I highly recommend this quick read!
