Summary: Mashed Potatoes
Review: In the realm of demon-baiting, this book is a solid helping of mashed potatoes to the Twinkies and Jell-o served up by critters like Bob Larson. On the one hand, if you really want to understand what basis people who actually believe this stuff are going on, this can be nourishing. If you're merely reading for recreation, however - and let's face it, in the end that's the only practical reason for filling your head with this material - you're likely to find it somewhat lumpy and bland.

Summary: An excellent introduction for anyone who wants to fight evil
Review: This book is great for men and women who want to love God with all their hearts and to defeat the powers that abhor a loving, merciful God. It will not, of course, convince any closed-minded anti-theist or deist of the reality of demons or the devil, though the author rationally presents all his material. Mark Bubeck provides clear steps of how to prepare oneself for spiritual warfare without becoming overly emotional. I particularly found helpful the partial list of spiritual fortresses of Satan against which any believer can pray. As a Christian who both likes to use my head and act on the authority of the Bible, I consider Bubeck's last book convicting and inspiring (as are his other works). He shows with great clarity how the application of Biblical truths to one's life in faith can change one and one's circumstances. For anyone interested in having greater power over the forces that seem to dominate this ugly world or for someone who longs to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with stronger zeal, I highly recommend this insightful and explanatory manual.
