Review: This book is a self-help manual for survivors of abuse. I found this book to be a clear and concise explanation for the manifestations of the side effects of abuse. This book offers a practical look at scripture and attempts to provide answers to the problems and struggle that survivor's face each day. Todd Cook has written a book that not only can be useful to survivors of abuse, but anyone who struggles with low self-esteem and lack of self-respect due to past tragedies.

After reading this book, I shared it with people that I knew that were survivors of abuse in an effort to get a more realistic view of its effects. Each person was refreshed and renewed after reading the sections that I shared with them. Todd Cook is definitely using his pastoral and theological experience for good. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is striving to realize his or her greatness in GOD.
