Summary: Title Definitely Matches Book
Review: Excellent Novel from beginning to end!!!

At first I was afraid to read this book because the title scared me. I thought it was about monsters, fire and the devil but its about a different kind of hell.

Let me tell it from the short end. Its about a teen girl name Babi. She ends up getting her heart broken by this jerk boyfriend of hers and after that she ends up in one relationship after another until finally she decides to become a devout christian. There she learns that her lovable married preacher is having an affair with an ex prostitute and has another wife and kids living in a different town. the church musician is secretly sleeping with his daughter and Babi is sexually harrassed by a church monster whos old enought to be her grandaddy.

She meets her husband, Leonard and they end up having sex and she gets pregnat and tries to hid it, but he does the right thing and marries her. He don't like her church so he moves his family to Texas. She ends up leaving her relationship with God for the partytime of the world. Her husband ends up being a sex pot who's into ponography. She didnt know he was like this when she married him because that was his secret. He did her sor wrong. I didnt like him but I felt sorry for him in the end. Her friend Neicee ask her if she can have sex with her and her husband. After all Babi did for Neicee, she's a backstabbing b----! She eventually left Leonard and returned to her hometown in Ohio.

There she met this cute married white guy who's wife is pregnat and she is too (this is juicy). But you know that didn't work out. Later she met this fake producer who ended up raping her. She and her girlfriend ends up scamming a bank through embezzeling funds from her job and they get caught the second time. Babi flees town and ends up in a world of hell.

Her friend Cecilia is looking for a husband and a father for her son. She ends up getting married to this man who turns out to be a homosexual (this is a juicy scene).

Debra is her beautiful model friend who is badly beaten up by her boyfriend because he's so jealous of her and she barely escaped her death. She ends up dating a lot, but her life has an amazing twist (this is so juicy).

Another friend Joan ends up living with her and she brings her religous uncle to live with them. He is tempted by Babi's beauty and can hardly contain himself around her.

Eventually, Babi and her husband reconcile their marriage but he hasn't stopped his whoring around. He ends up in the military and Babi meets this dude name Tory and he falls in love with her, but she rejects his love. They get into a heated argument and the police is phone. She ends up blowing up at the policeman and they gets into a fight. He arrests her and enroute, takes her to a remote location and rapes her (juicy, juicy, scene). After the emotional turmoil, she needed to get away so she planned a trip home to visit her family and Tory fixed her car so that she would have an accident and die. He said if he couldn't have her, neither could her husband. She survives the accident and uses that miracle as a calling from God to come back to him.

When she finds a church home, its not what she expected. The church folk treated her like she was a criminal. They did her so bad. She was looking to the church for love and understanding but instead she got talked about, lied on and mistreated. But without that situation happening, she would have never been introduce to a personal relationship with God. She had to learn that religion is void without a personal relationship with God.

Her journey was rough but she held on and endure her tragedies. It reminds me of the scripture that he whoever endures to the end shall be save.

I have not done this book justice in giving you a glimpse of what your in store for. There is just so much more and its all juicy, juicy. I loved it! Matter of fact, I'm going to start re-reading it just in case I missed something.

I met the author at Barnes and Noble Author Book Signing and I saw her book and the cover title caught my eye. There were other authors there, but her title was captivating. It was a rainy evening and I just wanted to cuddle up with a good juicy drama book. I usually read mystery books, but the weather put me in the mood for a juicy drama book. I was hoping it wouldnt turn out to be boring. But from from beginning to end it was a page turner. Shes a good storyteller. She has a knack for drawing you into the storylines. I bought the book on Friday evening and finished on Monday and it has about 28-30 chapters. That should tell you something.

Thank you Ms. Rolyat for writing such an entertaining book with good messages. I look forward to reading your other novel you told me was coming out. I hope you sign that one for me because I want to have original signed copies because you are going to be a well known author and I would like to say that I had a chance to meet and talk with you and have original signed copies of your books. Hurry with the next book. I can't wait! Good luck in your career.

Review: I love subplots! This is what you get in this novel. The words jump out at you. I was glad the main person in the book finally got her act together. A body has to sink before it can float. Think on that!

Summary: IT'S BETTER THE SECOND TIME AROUND
Review: I read this author's latest novel, 'LUST OF THE FLESH' and was highly impressed which prompted me to read her earlier works. When I finished reading 'WAITING TO EXIT HELL' I was at a loss for words. I really felt sorry for Babi and often wondered how could she allow herself to get caught up in so many unfruitful things. I give this book a 3-1/2 stars, but with better editing, this novel could have really been a five star book. However, the title is very appropriate for the storylines.

If you haven't read her book, 'LUST OF THE FLESH,' I would highly recommend that you do. You definitely won't be disappointed, but will actually be screaming for more. They always say that it's better the second time around. I understand this to be her second novel, and yes, it is much better than her first one. Read 'LUST OF THE FLESH'. You'll enjoy it.

If you only read one book this year, READ THIS ONE! It can save you from so many things that your going thru. I loved this novel. I can't wait for another from her. I read lots of books, but this one, I'll never forget. Take my advice and go get this book! And tell your family and friends to get it too! You'll be glad you did. I wish this book was a movie because if Hollywood was casting for parts, I would play the main character, Babi. Spike Lee or Debbie Allen or any movie producer and director, ya'll need to create a movie from this book. If you do, ya'll be BIG TIME PAID! No lie!

Summary: ok (I guess)
Review: This book is slow in the beginning and some parts of the middle, and preachy towards the end. It's also a long read. I often found myself wondering when was this book going to end. I was turned off by the fact that the star of the book condemned everyone around her their sins and she was guilty of the same things. The only good thing I found was seeing how the star of the book was going to get out of the mess she made for herself. Borrow this book from a friend or check it out at the public library so you won't feel cheated.

Summary: Yes!!!
Review: This book shows exactly the type of torment false teaching and not praying can take you through. I could not put this book down. Babe stayed in mess. They story was weaved together wonderfully and it has many surprises. I really enjoyed this book. Here is one lesson I will share, Ladies don't have your girlfriends up in your husbands face... By the time I finished this book, I was thanking God for our relationship. I can't imagin anyone in this big world trying to live without God. For me, it's impossible. The author, at the end did an excellent job of bringing forth the Word. Excellent book!

Summary: The Good The Bad and The Ugly
Review: This book was interesting. Sometimes I felt the book was a bit too far fetched, and at other times I really related to "Babi" the main character. I think through it all the most important lesson learned here is to keep your relationship with the lord your first priority and the rest of your life will fall in to place; But even if you do lose your way the word says God will never forsake you and once you are saved no one can snatch you from his his arms, so don't let satan tell you other wise.

Summary: Once I was lost but now I'm found...blind but now I see
Review: This was some book. I can still feel my heart thumping. This book and Second Sunday was recommended to me. Never have I felt such compassion for someone. Babi was a poor misguided child who grew into a poor misguided woman. Then she met the REAL Jesus Christ who was the only one that could take the hurt and pain away. This is one of those books that you have a hard time putting down because so many interesting things are going on. The greatest lesson learned is when you walk away from God, you walk away from protection and into the arms of the evil one.

Summary: Finding your way out
Review: Waiting to Exit Hell is an intense thought provoking title that may
have readers contemplating whether this book is about an escape from
a fiery here after or from the hell we can often find ourselves in,
here on earth. What I think readers will experience is the author's
message which is clearly about freeing one's self from the sins of
the flesh and forming an allegiance of love and devotion to God.

Gloria "Babi" Robinson has been teetering on the brink of hell most
of her young life. Even though life's circumstances have her entering
into adulthood before her time, she realizes that if she's to find
strength to survive she is going to need God's help. She does find
the Lord, but this anointing lasts only until she's eighteen when
other life forces intervene. Babi meets, Leonard Atwater, who is
probably the final push into the hell that she has struggled to allude
all this time. It is at this point that she does a 180 degree turn from
God, and for the next several years she experiences every negative
vice imaginable. As her life continues to spiral downward, she feels
God is punishing her for turning her back on his teachings. There is
a wake up call that has her looking deep into how she is living each
day. Babi knows she has two choices; change her life or face her
eternity, but does she have the strength to make the right decision?

Waiting To Exit Hell is meant to awaken the spiritual consciousness
that is too often denied or left buried in one's life. But I don't
know if that message will be clear to readers. The book veers off
in several different directions, there are too many un-connected
stories and at times the focus of the story seems unclear. However,
Ms. Rolyat in this unveiled look at religious reconstruction boldly
exposes the dangers and consequences of sexual immorality. But she
shares with the believer this divine fact; "with repentance and
devotion to God, there is an exit after chastening". The Epilogue
is a good extension of this book.
