Review: We can love our children, we can raise them the best way we know how but have we ever thought of the impact of giving them self-esteem? I got this book hoping for some insight on parenting my 2 small children and I thought it was excellent. The entire time, though, I recalled my own childhood and how although my parents did love me, I never had self-esteem and my choices later in life shout out this fact. My parents did the best they could but I intend on taking the advice in this book and giving my children the biggest gift of all~ the ability to love themselves despite their weaknesses and flaws! The life issues and challenges they face will be easier to tackle if they believe in themselves!
