Summary: Trash
Review: ... The beast has not come, the end times are still yet to come. No man shall know the hour. You can make the bible say what ever you want it to say, as Gary Demar has done here by just focusing and misinterpreting Matthew 24. John Windsor, if you read his other reviews on books dealing with christianity, go polar opposite of what the bible teaches. A book I recommend "New Age Bible Versions," by Riplinger teaches against the modern bibles which aren't based on the original hebrew like the KJV. The book is an eye opener and will make you through your new age bibles in the trash. The book obviously isn't perfect, but there are enough examples. To show the gross mutilation. Read Revelation 22:18-19 from the KJV to understand for yourself. Read your KJV bibles don't just believe what everyone tells you.

Summary: A Much-needed Corrective to Today's "End Time" Hysteria
Review: DeMar does an outstanding job of refuting the current "end time" hysteria. He does so by working systematically through the relevant portions of Scripture, particularly Matthew 24, and showing that what is spoken of in that chapter had to be fulfilled in the 40 years (one generation) between the crucifixion of Christ and the destruction of the Second Temple.

Last Days Madness makes no pretense to be novel. DeMar stresses that his interpretation of events is nothing new, but merely presents to the current generation of Christians what was believed and taught by many (if not most) of the Christian leaders for two thousand years. As such, the book is unlikely to become a best-seller, but it nonetheless should be in the library of every Christian who wants to provide an intelligent refutation of the pessismistic doom-and-gloom eschatology so prevalent today.

DeMar's conclusion: The Beast has come and gone. The worst is over and done with. . The gates of hell will never withstand us. The future is ours. Let's occupy until He comes!
