Russ Scalzo and Steve Mamchek have done a terrific job of bringing together fact and fiction in such a way that you can't help but believe that this is really going to happen. Although the book takes place in the not too distant future, the parallels in todays news are striking. The humanness of the characters makes you want to be there with them, but the descriptions of the events that take place make you want to be like Jeremy and his wife and disappear.
