Review: This is an excellent annotated version of The Second Book of Samuel of the New English Bible translation supplemented with detailed commentaries and entries based upon historical and archaelogical data. I learned a great deal of ancient history that would not be available to be simply by reading Samuel. this book, and others in the series, are a must for any serious Bible scholar.
