Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A little dated, yet still applicable
Review: I'm a 20 year-old college student, and a 1-year old Christian. My friends walked me through my first Bible study using Packer's Knowing God -- which was an excellent way for to get to know the character of God! This year, we read Fruit of the Spirit -- and I did not enjoy the book nearly as much. The author's reference to the "Commies" and "Caspar Milquetoast" were a little before my time! However, Sanderson does a terrific job of making his writing scripturally-sound with relevant references to the Bible. But the study guide questions at the end of each chapter were confusing.
