Review: Nicely if plainly written, this book summarizes modern mystical phenomena relating to the physical body, as opposed to purely mental ecstasies. Much of this is a Catholic Thing, and all of it fascinating--especially inedia, the phenomenon of mystics who simply cease to eat or drink, sometimes for decades at a time. Sure, they could be frauds--but as many of them are bedridden invalids or even paralyzed, it would be possible to study them and rule out hoaxes without a great deal of effort.Maybe there are miracles. If there are, this book describes where they might be found
