Summary: This book was extremely helpful to me.
Review: I enjoyed reading this book because it is very concise and clear on the major points of Christian History. This is could even be a good book for a first year Seminarin to read. It does not however deal with African American contributions to the American religion culture or church history and no mention of major black theologians. This is a glaring oversight and one can't help but think intended. Overall it was an excellent read.
