Summary: Great history lesson in a great personal story
Review: I read this book just before my husband left for a three week overseas business trip. Jeannie's story (true, by the way) about her husband being called to WAR just a month after their wedding made me empathize- and it made me feel much better- after all, I knew my husband would return. This book also gives a good idea of what it was like "back home" during the World War.
