Review: I just want to say well done! After reading this book it has helped me overcome so many fears and even realize that homosexuality is not a preference that individuals are born with it is a preference and by product of sexual abuse, no one is just born gay as many people believe, but they have in some way been persuaded to believe this is what they are. This book can help anyone that has a hard time forgiving, overcoming mental, physical, sexual abuse, and is in need of resolving issues that life may deal out to us at times.I have recommended this particular book to so many individuals and even purchased it for others as gifts. Every person that has read this book has had a great priviledge in benefiting from the deep insight and personal experiences of Pastor Roberts. Many people are bound up by their past experiences but, thank God Pastor Roberts has been liberated through the love of Christ and can share his own experience to help liberate others. Thank God there IS A WAY OUT of living in a literal hell of abuse!
Also I would like to comment on the chapters called "Sex on the internet" and "Todays witchcraft". I believe these insights are right on time for todays age. I know the bible
says "The truth shall set you free". Well these deep truths are for those who want a way out because naturally someone who doesn't care would only mock the truth. Thank you Pastor Roberts for being very honest and to the point in your book. I believe many will find the help they are looking for just like I have through your great and uncandid testimony of how only Jesus can bring you through such a hard and yet (now) very rewarding life. Summary: A great book
Review: Wow, what a powerful story that gives hope to people from all walks of life. I loved this book because it told the truth about what gay life is really like. Science offers us explainations about homosexuality, but they never touch on the spiritual influences that cause a person to be gay. As an ex-gay, I could relate to the chapter entitled "Get out of my church" because many of these same predjudices and sterotypes still occur in the church. Gays are mocked and spiritually neglected by many preachers on a constant basis. I agree with Pastor Roberts view that if the chruch would have converted many of these gay activists years ago, that today they would be activists for Jesus instead of the gay agenda. In closing, on a scale of 1-10 I give this book a 10. God bless you Pastor Roberts for your boldness and insight.

Summary: Freedom from any bondage
Review: Yes, I am a member of Pastor Perri's (as he is known to us) congregation. I first saw him preach over twenty years ago and knew that he had a genuine heart felt love for our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. I would like to comment on the book, at this time, however. The book reflects the life of one who has been in the deepest, darkest valleys of despair (such as many of you, the reader and THOSE THAT YOU KNOW), but made a decision to reach up to God in a final desparation and found Him there. Pastor Roberts has done his homework, covering many such topics as historical Sodom & Gomorrah, todays computers and the soon coming antichrist. The book is not only a pathway to deliverance from ANY bondage, but offers insight on many other topics as well. Step back into 1960's San Bernardino, and then reach out to a future of freedom through Jesus. An honost and refreshing read.
