Exploring the Old Testament (Biblical Essentials)

Summary: intense exploring of history
Review: Teacher but not preacher.
This paperback was exactly what I was looking for. It is a very in depth review of everything in the Old Testament, given in a timeline format instead of book by book. There are about 15 questions at the end of each chapter. Most of the answers are found in the text but some require personal conclusions, sometimes careful thought and consideration are needed before you can truely answer a question.
This is not a light overview for a beginner. I would, however, recomend this book for anyone interested in history, regardless of religious background.
