It also makes for good outside reading for therapists to give to couples in marriage counseling. Wright and Oliver alternate the authorship of chapters. Both employ a great deal of humor and easily recognizable everyday scenarios in which the reader finds his or her own experiences. Oliver's writing feels especially supportive and encouraging.
