Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Extremely disappointing juvenile story-line;poorly developed
Review: Having just completed Morris's Liberty Bell Series which was fabulous in every way, I expected this single novel to be as good in content and execution only to be sorely disappointed in both. Certainly not up to Morris's standards. The subject matter, a movie set in the heartland, far from L.A., was weak and not in the least bit entertaining.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Something different
Review: I have read nearly all of Gilbert Morris' books. I enjoy his writing, and this book is no different. The subject matter is different than many of his previous books, as it is set in modern times and involves the secular film industry. After a slow start, the book develops nicely. Several of the characters, particularly Mr. and Mrs. Frame, are quite enjoyable. While, not Gilbert Morris' best piece of work, on the whole it was an enjoyable evening's read for me. Probably not worth purchasing, but definitely worth a check-out from the local library.

Summary: Different subject, but still stunningly captivating!
Review: I was surfing along trying to find more currect fiction by Gilbert Morris, when I happened on to this page. Even though it may not be in my top 100, I certainly found "All that Glitters" to be a quiet enjoyable read. It's nice to have a feel good book ever so often. Like I said, I was looking for more!

Summary: Different subject, but still stunningly captivating!
Review: Though the subject material for this book is quite different from Morris' usual choice, it is nonetheless a well written and enticing story. If you prefer Morris' civil war books, this one may seem unappealing at first. As you read though, the story truly captures you. I found that simply the movie that the characters were producing had an excellent storyline, not to mention the true plot itself. Gilbert Morris certainly did well when he wrote "All that Glitters".
