Rating: Summary: Alot of the lessons of life contained in this book. Review: As an avid hunter, I really enjoyed Steve's insights into the ways that hunting can be corolated with everyday life. The special way that he brought the sport to life showing that taking an animals life was not what hunting was all about. The times in the woods with our God and the pleasures of His world. The silence and the peacefulness. Steve's comments on how our children are like arrows drawn in our bows, we cannot hold them forever, we must let them go out into this world and pray our aim is true. Thanks
Rating: Summary: Double Thumbs Up! Review: Caution to all! This book may force you to reconsider your hunting perspective. How refreshing that can be for all of us. Chapman touches on the true essence of sportsmanship and points to the one TRUE Trophy....Eternal Life. What better way to contemplate our sport than to focus on the Creator of all life. Dont waste your time buying a copy of this book. Buy several!
Rating: Summary: A LOOF AT LIFE FROM A DEER STAND Review: Caution to all! This book is not what the title refers to, it is not about Deer Hunting. When looking for books on Deer Hunting I, thought this may be a good book for a first tim hunter. WRONG ! This book is about life, very LITTLE about Deer Hunting, or hunting from a deer or tree stand. I feel my money was wasted.

Rating: Summary: Real life and hunting Review: Great read for people who like to read about hunting and that maybe experiencing a difficult time in their life. Either way a great book. Mr. Chapman combines his hunts and true life stories on how hunting has put things into perspective for him and also how he has learned to appreciate family, life and things we have in such a limited amount of time. I would recommend it to anyone. I also purchased a copy for a dear friend and hunting partner who is minister. I haven't given it to him yet but I am sure he will enjoy it as much as I. THANKS

Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: I had a hard time with this book . . .I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN! It is an excellent book, and I recommend it to all deerhunters, especially Christian deerhunters! It's an easy, interesting read and I am going to buy copies of this book for my huntin' buddies, which include my teenage sons. Steve Chapman draws the reader into a vivid situation, allowing the reader to feel as if he is in the woods sitting in the tree stand. Also, the author shares his personal views about many areas of life. This book makes you think about many different things! Buy it--you'll like it!
