Review: This is a unique book that blends inspirational Bible stories with inspirational stories of successful people. I especially like the format. First a chapter quotes the full length Bible story. The next chapter explains how this story impacted a special person, such as, Zig Ziglar, Mark Victory Hansen or Fred (Mister) Rogers to name a few. My favorite chapter was about the "Painter of Light", Thomas Kinkade. After he accepted Christ into his life, light seemed to radiate from his work more than ever before. For that reason, his favorite Bible passage is: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) I would recommend this book to everyone who desires to know how to put the moral lessons of the Bible into a successful lifestyle for today. It also cheers you on to know that the personal insights and success of special people offers a role model for all of us.
