Summary: A Quick but Thoughtful Read
Review: JC Ryle shows again why he is a lasting influence on Christianity with his timeless writing. He is not difficult to understand and his passion for the subject is clear through his writing.
Ryle not only thoughtfully explains why we can depend on God's Word as inerrant, but in what may be the best section of this small book, he explains why it is so necessary for a Christian to dedicate themself to this life changing book. He explains the consequences of not reading it and the benefits of a dedicated life.
So many more people like JC Ryle are needed today. The world needs more people committed to reading and cherishing God's word, instead of spending their thoughts on fleeting and inconsequential thoughts. JC Ryle will challenge any reader to dedicate themselves in the same manner that his life displayed his thirst for God's Word.

Summary: excellently and plainly written
Review: this book is a very easy read. there are only about 60 pages but they are absolutely packed full of information and inspiring insights. if you are wanting to learn more about the bible and wanting to know how the bible can be proven to be the inspired word of God, as well as learning more how to read it, this is a book that you must check out. and suprisingly to me J.C. Ryle wrote this in a very understandable manner in very simple english.
