Summary: Thank God for Susan Wilkerson
Review: Best book I ever read. It changed my life completely and I know I will never be the same again.
God ought to be proud he has such an intelligent person in his camp like Susan Wilkerson. Hope her next book will be as good as this one was. I only wish I could buy a hundred copies to give to my friends and family members.
God sure did give the author of this book a lot of talent, and I sure hope that he appreciates what he has.

Summary: The Book's Foundation: The Absolute Sovereignty of God
Review: Miss Wilkinson has done and exceptional job proclaiming how the Biblical Truth of the Sovereignty of God can and should bring to the Believer tremedous comfort and peace beyond imagination. Away with the trite platitudes of a lot of "Christian" self-help books and words of well-meaning from other Believers, this book deals with the REALITY of pain and agony from our past with which many of us struggle. Miss Wilkinson offers no easy answers from a life without pain but rather, with admireable vulnerabily and honesty, she engages the heart of the reader on each page... taking them by the hand and invites them to ask the hard questions, to meet our Transcendent God where He is, and to come away with a radically new (to the modern Chriatian) and fresh understanding of His Will and desire for our lives. A message of hope from one who has mined the deep Biblical truths that are rarely proclaimed from today's pulpits. I encourage every sincere Seeker of Truth and new beginning, to taste the sweetness of the truths she invites us to grasp and make our own .... ones which are nothing less than the Biblical principal of the Absolute Sovereigny of God.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Susan Wilkinson does a splendid job showing people how to overcome the past and give them a bright hope for the future. She uses her own past regrets and those of her friends as examples of how regret can be a strong hold on your life. Then with examples from the Bible she shows ways out of the guilt of past mistakes by showing that God is in complete control of all circumstances of our lives, good as well as bad. This book will help any one who has ever experienced guilt due to sin, failures, and mistakes. Susan Wilkinson's "Getting Past Your Past" will no doubt become a classic of it's kind.
I can't recommend this book enough. Clear, biblical and precise.

Summary: Well done!
Review: This book clearly and concisely lays out a biblical path for dealing with the myriad regrets and shames that haunt a Christian. The author's theology is sound and her sources impeccable. I highly recommend this book for anyone struggling to reconcile their faith with their reality.

Summary: Same old rehash
Review: This kind of book as been done already time and time again by more experienced writers. Nothing new to be had here.
I had read previous reviews of this book before I bought it, apparently by a few close personal friends of the writer.
It seems a shame that the book market is being over flooded these days by self help books by so called experts. It's even a bigger shame when these experts use their religious beliefs and faith in God to cash in on a popular trend.
