Summary: insight into all marriages, especially celebrity pressures
Review: I'm not an Oral Roberts fan, but I wanted to read this book to discover insight into how a marriage that was supposed to be supremely "blessed" from the beginning could go so wrong. The book is written without screaming bitterness, the author tries hard to be gracious to the Roberts family, while still expressing her hurt. It is of course a very sad book, but it resonated with my knowledge of human nature and marriage. I recommend it primarily to anyone interested in studying the dynamics of marriage, especially how people in high profile Christian marriages become isolated through being placed up on a pedestal.

Summary: Another Side to Oral Roberts' Ministry
Review: Patti writes openly about the stresses and realities of being a part of the Oral Roberts family and ministry. She sheds light on a side of the man and the ministry of which the public was not fully aware. I can attest to the accuracy since I was a part of ORU during 4 of the years covered by her book. Bravo to Patti for being brave enough to tell the truth.
