Summary: A wonderful way to start each day--for the rest of your life
Review: After reading Mr. Roper's "Psalm 23-The Song of a Passionate Heart" I used Amazon's recommended reading to pursue his writing further. I wasn't aware that the book was aimed at men-and it doesn't make much difference anyway, the book is really quite wonderful. Each morning Mr. Roper gently took my hand, urged me to read a snippet of Scripture, then guided my mind and heart to apply God's words to my life. Who could ask for anything more. I already miss his guidance and I have not reached day 31 as yet.

Summary: David Roper: Obviously a Man of God
Review: Written with humility and maturity. This is one of those books that will be read over and over. It is fresh and thoughtful and I would suspect that much of it was written while the author was on his knees. The thirty-one readings make for an excellent pre-read to start the day and will gently challenge one out of complacency and unto a deeper walk with Christ.
