Summary: A MUST FOR ANYONE WHO CALLS THEMSELVES A CHRISTIAN
Review: A library on evangelism cannot be complete without this book. Tony Evans owes no one an apology for what he has said in this book. This book will either upset you or change your evangelism boundries. You cannot read this one and come out a fence stradler. By the way this was my first book by Pastor Evans and I do look to add more to my library.

Summary: Wake Up Call for Christians in America
Review: Of all that I have read on the subject, Dr. Tony Evans, pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas is one of the people who has correctly identified both the problems and the solutions in our country today. He is especially accurate in his assessment of the racial divide in America. As Dr. Evans puts it "We are witnessing firsthand the internal destruction of our culture. Nowhere is that destruction more evident than in our urban centers where drugs, crime, teenage pregnancy, racial conflict, poverty and family disintegration are combined to unravel the very structure of our society." As he so clearly proves with scripture the problems in America are clearly spiritual, not social or economic. Chapter by chapter Dr. Evans shows us why and what we need to do to turn our country around spiritually.

Summary: Something we need to hear!
Review: This book lays the blame for society's problems squarely where it belongs: At the feet of the Church. If Christians were living like they ought, there wouldn't be nearly the problems in this country.

Evans does a good job of discussing several of our major problems, and the spiritual causes behind them.
