Review: Dale has written a good book for anyone who has felt called to lead in some capacity. While the book is tailored towards those in the ministry, the principles can readily be transferred to the home, business, and other areas.

Among the points covered include:

1. Leaders must be transformers and realize who they serve.
2. Leaders must have a clear identity of who they are.
3. Leaders must consistently display integrity.
4. Good leaders have a good sense of timing and flexibility.

5. There is a time and place for directive leadership.
6. Good leaders think and act strategically.
7. Leaders need to be tough and tender.
8. Good leaders are teambuilders.

While the principles above have been read several times in other leadership books, it doesn't hurt to be reminded every so often!
