Summary: Another Book of NONSENCE.
Review: Dave Hunt has done it again (re-interpreted and mis-interpreted The Bible) The Point that Protestant Fundamental evangelicals miss about the Reformation is that it DID NOT put an end to the RCC or its pretentiousness it simply democratized it. Now everyone can be there own little pope interpreting scripture anyway they please. (...)If anyone wants to read a good book that defends the faith check out:
"Common Ground: An Introduction to Eastern Christianity for the American Christian by Jordan Bajis"
*Don't forget Christianity is an Eastern religion.*

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A deeper understanding of your relationship with God.
Review: Dave Hunt uses a question and answer format that makes this book an excellent resource. It helps you to understand so many of the why's of the Christian faith and strengths the most import ideal that Jesus Christ is truly the only way to eternal life.

Summary: THIS BOOK IS VERY HELPFUL TO BOTH CHRISTIANS AND SKEPTICS...
Review: Forget about reviewers who have an obvious bias against Dave Hunt. This book is really excellent for answering many questions that sometimes arise about difficult Bible questions, supposed contradictions, and the honest questions of various skeptics and unbelievers.

Dave Hunt is a life-long student of the Bible and a very devout Christian man. Many Christians and nonchristians will find this book challenging and forthright. I recommend it as a good overview of Christian apologetics for the general public. I think you will find it answers a LOT of important questions.

Summary: Not a good book for finding biblical authenticity
Review: The one chapter i focused on were Hunt's answers to questions on Contradictions in the Bible. I believe the Bible is infallible, but Hunt does a poor job answering questions. He answers with the attitude that anyone who would raise questions is dumb and he speaks as if everyone against him is a moron. In answering the questions to when Jesus was crucified, he says that the last supper was not the passover, which john seems to say, if u dont' read the synoptic gospels. the other gospels clearly say the last supper was the passover. in turn, while he tries to find a correct order for the events of the crucifixion, he contradicts himself. Then, with the supposed contradictions of who killed goliath, he goes to infer that David not only killed goliath, but his 4 other "brothers". chronicles and Samuel only say they are the descendants of Rapha, not necessarily brothers. the only reason he has for saying david killed all 5 brothers was that he used 5 stones, and says: "that fact also gives us further insight into the incredible accuracy that david had with a sling- he only needed one stone for each giant." i'm sorry, but thats just wrong. In all, Dave Hunt does answer some other contradiction questions correctly and with skill, but overall, his answers are too inconsistent and he loses credibility to the reader. I agree with the other reviewer in that u should read R.C. Sproul's book for better theology.

Summary: Excellent book well written and with well thoughtout answers
Review: This book is excellent for answering some questions which often get raised especially by non christians about supposed discrepancies in the christian faith.

This is an excellent book to give to the inteligent well educated unbeliever with a christian background who doubts the authenticity of the bible or who believes there are descrepancies in the bible that cant be reconcilled.

This book is also very usefull for envangelism to prepare oneself for common questions unbelievers ask or common objections or mistruths unbelievers raise.

I feel my time was well spent reading this book.

Summary: More of Hunt's Nonsense
Review: This guy has a real twisted interpretation of the Bible. He seems to appeal to the so-called Christians who have a need to hate fellow believers. Dave has given us other idiotic diatribes, most notably "A Whore Who Rides the Beast" and this is another classic of the genre. He claims to be a heresy hunter, but heresy is his main problem with these books. Forget this junk and read the Bible, the writings of Billy Graham and the Catholic Catechism for genuine spiritual food.
