Review: Beautiful pearls of wisdom glisten on each page. A few lines of the New Testament, mingled with a few lines from John Main's writing, is masterfully edited by Gregory Ryan. I spend a few minutes each day reading just a page or so, before practicing "centering prayer," a type of Christian meditation, that John Main's words encourage throughout the book. The book would be of benefit to any Christian, or spiritual seeker, who seeks a more intimate relationship with God. This 78 page book, carries in it so much wisdom that you'll be pleasantly surprised.
