Review: For any Christian who wants to gain insights into many of the questions and issues that are important to our lives, this is a great choice. Hogan takes a fresh look at issues that are important and serious, but approaches them in a way that is at the same time entertaining and insightful. References to many elements that are familiar to all of us in our modern culture (e.g. Batman, Pez, Santa Claus) help the reader to relate to the issues he addresses in a way that causes them to make great sense. Buy it.

Review: Hogan brings together the fundamental aspects of Christianity, and delivers them with force via pop-culture analogies, allegory, etc. It is not only an excellent choice for the Christian who is seeking to reaffirm his or her faith; it's also a solid stepping stone that invites you into the works of Peter Kreeft, C.S. Lewis, and G.K. Chesterton. The chapters on suffering (Rain), life & death (Candlelight), and sex & marriage (The Ring) are quite exceptional. Buy it.
